Ceramic coating,
I have done a lot of research on the subject recently and thought I would share what I have found with you,I have no personal connection or sponsorship through this company

There is a market leader in this industry and while there product offers better thermal properties to anyone else doing this out there the differences are minimal at best,

They quoted me £280 plus shipping to coat my manifold,
But me being as they say in the trade "cheap" I decided to shop around,

I found a company in the north called camcoat, I have been speaking to a guy called nick there, I e-mailed pictures of the items I want coating and he has come back with a more then competitive offer, ok they do not have the "name" or the variety of colours but he has given me the following quote,

All the following items ceramic coated in gloss or satin black and posted back plus a little vat £256

Manifold
Upper inlet
Lower inlet
Downpipe

4 items compared to one posted for less then one,
Got to be a fair deal right?
Well worth a look if any of you are contemplating this mod,
Mike,

And yes I have seen all the poor reviews, this is just a fancy paint.  In real high heat applications it may flake after time so this is purely for the guys like me out there that don\'t have a massive performance application and it\'s more for the aesthetics

Grant Monkhouse

Sounds like a good deal.

What sort of temp differences are you expecting to see?

Il be honest I\'m not that bothered about the temp, so longs my incoming air is a little cooler it\'s gotta help, for me it\'s more about the aesthetics,
If I want more serious temp reductions then zircotecs product is the only way to go,

But yeah if the coating can give me 2-3\' off my inlet air temps I think it\'s worthwhile
