I\'m planning on fitting a straight through system to my TII in the next week or so, I want to retain air injection into the exhaust though.  Are there any problems with me simply welding a flange onto the mid pipe and making a new air pipe to fit?

 Thanks in advance :)

why do want air injection?    emmissions?
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Yep, should save arsing about at MOT time :)

? I\'ve never had a problem? well exept the time i had my OMP turned up too much (too much blue smoke).

Not being funny, but I find it very hard to believe an Rx7 with not CAT or thermal reactor will pass without any problems.
On my Egi I had to turn the mixture right down and make an air bypass valve for the UIM to get it through!

What are your readings in terms of ppm and % with the straight through system then?

Well it passes every year. maybe its due to my EMS set up???

Then it may also be the Testers Interpretation?? Or maybe my MOT man is Rx7 Frendly. ;)

MOT should not be a problem, cars registered before Jan 1st \'93 do not have to have a cat fitted

Well, after some thought I think I\'m going to fit the air injection into the bottom of the downpipe.  That way it saves arsing around when I run with/without the CAT in place.

Any one have any thoughts or suggestions?
