It seems my 92 FD3 has sprung a wee leak, oil seems to be dripping (slowly) from the front left (as you look at the front) not having had chance to get in there and have a look, a cursory inspection the wee radiator thats behid the vent seems to have taken a bit of a battering and has quite a bit of oil on it.

is the small rad an oil cooler?
if so im guessing that either its damaged or there is a split pipe in the area leaking the oil  any ideas on the best way of taking a look? and the rough costs of replacement if damaged etc

cheers for any help guys

Yes the small rad is an oil cooler. Type R has oil cooler on both sides. Not sure how you would get to it, remove the wheel arch lining perhaps.

Andrew at Jimmy\'s should be able to supply a good used one.
