Look what ive sourced...neat little check valves - fit right inside a 3mm silicon hose.

Will let you know how they work :D

Martiny

Excellent, what price are they, and what rating (psi) can they handle?

MikeLMR

I\'d be more concerned with how quickly they will close etc. rather than the ultimate pressure rating.

Martiny

Bobfish, did they work???

Mike, I want some just for testing and diagnosing my 2nd Turbo problem/s on the FD, I dont think i would run the car with them.

Bobfish

Sorry guys, been having fun with the car :D

The valves are manufactured for automotive ABS applications, so have to have very low leakage and a very short closing time by law.  I was told by the supplier that they are 0 leakage, safe up to 300f, and malfunction guarenteed for life.

Im using them right now in my DTC and purge control lines from the UIM and they both seem to be working absoloutely fine...

The valves have to be bought in lots of a few hundred, and i have none left now - but if people show interest i may buy a few more.

Bobfish

by the way, if i was to buy more my price would be £30+p&p for a full set.  I dont think this is too bad since mazda want 35+VAT EACH for their check valves, which will only break anyway :D

If anyone is interested too, i have the FULL spec sheet here (with flow rates at various pressures, max handling specs etc etc etc)

Do these replace the those little platic valves?

Tempting as I\'m in the middle of the VAC job now, how quickly could you get another bunch in?

Also how do you tell which way they go?   :rollin

I\'m using 4mm hoses so I guess I\'d need slightly larger valves?

Thanks

Dave
