just a fast ?    i have  recently  been having a few people looking at my car on  a night ,and its slighty worrying  when ya find some 1 looking through ya car window  at 1 in the morning, and ya dont have an alarm.untill i can get 1 fitted   a friend of mine  suggested that i take the fuel relay out  to cut fule from the car  as he did it with his   gt4 1\'s  and it worked ok, but the thing with mine is i take it out and the car still fires up and runns fine   is this normal ???

Don\'t know off hand but another option, pull the green \'circuit relay\' from the large fuse box. They won\'t get very far without that (the car won\'t fire at all). It\'s a bit of a pig to pull out.

Yes, on an FD, the fuel pump relay does NOT stop the fuel pumping if you remove it. It would be better to find the relay or fuse for the EGI system.

Yep, pull the EGI fuse from under the bonnet.
