thank you so much in our build up to getting the wee beastie as we have decided to call her ( yes we are sad gits who name motors) It wasn\'t exactly love at first sight but a gut feeling that grew from there. It cost us £3500 to buy from ardwick jap import auctions a 92 and the strangest colour, green on paperwork but a dark blue sort of tone to it. the roof has a rough whitey areas on it but rest of paintwork just a touch dull, The drivers seat is split and rough stitched and its done about 70000 miles and has original mazda allows with what look like brand new bridgestones on ( some one told me better get brit tyres). shes getting mot now have to wait for sparky to fit fog lamp on friday ( busy chap) couple of other mot fails according to mechanic nothing scary tho 1 wheel nuts for some unknown reason missing 6 i think, and as mech said we can\'t open petrol filler ) good job i could figure it out otherwise would have had to push it from auctions ( got to admit it is different and gave me some embarassment at petrol station whilst trying to find it opening and closing the boot too many times) Must admit enjoyed playing games with the boy racers on way to mot garage ( how incredible thick they are round here with theyre 2 litre escort cabriolets and 3 series bmers) I know it looked dirty and rough on way from auction but surely they can see car under that, I got 2 before tactical police unit flag me over for no number plates. So thats the start of our hopefully continueing love affair.
Whats to come trip to specialists after registration to have her checked over, put paint her roof on schedule hopefully put reg number on top of nose E type style ( if its still legal) get transfers made up of saltyre for roof and loch ness monster with wee beastie logo on sides and maybe clan crest on bonnet
there you are have set given you plebty of scope to be shock horrified about
BUT A BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT
