Hi Guys

Has been a while since i wrote a post due to the fact that all insurance quotes for me being 24 on a Jap RX7 were way to pricey. Now i have hit the 25yr old mark its not so bad for an import, so now i\'m looking around and reading on this forum what to look when it comes to purchasing my RX7...(hopefully in a month or so...when the sale of my flat goes thru!!!)

First of all does anyone know a link that would help me know the difference between the different models...eg? Type-R...RB etc.etc.. That would be really helpful as I hear loads about the different RX7 3rd Gens.

Also...whats the average cost for a service at a specialist? just so i can work things out financially in my head!!

Well hope one of you can answer these couple of questions........

just lokking at the cars make me wanna buy one, but i feel i need to look more in depth about them...so any info would really help.

Thanx!

try adrian flux there really good, im 21 and have an import and it £2100 fully comp per year and ive been driving 2 years!

Vinny

Thanks for the tips guys

My latest quote was £1475 for an import and I\'m 25 with NO NCB due to driving a company car for the last 4 years, so haven\'t had my own policy!

ideally would like to find a UK spec due to cheaper insurance but know they are hard to come by.

Vinny, I dont think that a UK will be cheaper in the insurnce.

£1475 is a good price for someone that has ZERO NCB...

the uk spec is cheaper, i could get 200 quis less on a uk car. But the uk cars have been on our salty roads for longer, also they have less power due to the pre-cat. Import is the way to go.:D

Vinny

thanks guys,

sounds like import is the way to go.

what about parts and servicing. is that gonna be difficult or are parts easily available.

Cheers
