Nurburgring Track Day Insurance ?

So, insured with AON since March, they told me I have track day cover with my policy, today I find that track day cover is £25 each time I want to use it (have to tell them beforehand) but more importantly it is not international track day cover.
Going to the Nurburgring end of June, any suggestions ? I\'ve been in a few conversations along the lines of \'it\'s a German toll road so it should be the same as the rest of Germany\'. Hmmm.
If anyone knows a good place to go for track day cover I would be grateful.

Because it is a public toll road, you may already be covered on your regular insurance.

You won\'t get track day cover because the public days on the Nordschleife are not classed as \'track days\'.

Check the small print. Some insurers specifically exclude the Nurburgring by name, others by saying \'not covered for one way public toll roads\'. Other insurers do not exclude - Norwich Union being one from what I have been told (but not Norwich Union Direct).

Cool, cheers for the links and stuff guys, I\'m gonna see what the rest of the group going are doing about insurance and I\'ll get a copy of the European cover afforded by AON and read the small print.

I know they arrange one-off track day cover but not sure if UK only. Worth a go though.

Hey Mart I just got a quote from "MORIS" for all three days - £150 I\'ll pass you the details.. i\'m gonna go with them I think
