OK, annoying thread coming up, and I know everyone\'s fed up with answering questions on what wheels will fit.. BUT...

2001 FD3S
Tein Flex coilovers at factory height

Proposed rimmage:

Front
19x8 ET40 245x35x19

Rear
19x9.5 ET35 285x30x19

By my calculations on Tyresave\'s calculator and a couple of other online tools, those tyre sizes give a net diameter effect of 0%.

Rear wheels will be .15" closer to the strut and 1.34" closer to the arch.

Front wheels will be .39" further from the strut and .39" closer to the arch.

Do my calcs make sense and is the general concensus that these measurements are within tolerances to allow them to fit the FD ? (I don\'t mind getting rear arches rolled if necessary, btw)

Any help most appreciated.

Cheers for now, Craig

OK, your choice of wheels should be fine but I\'d be more inclined to use 235/35R19 F (647.1mm) and 265/35R19 R (641.6mm) considering the standard size is 225/50R16 (631.4mm).  You could even use 225/35R19 F (640.1mm).

Oh yes, damn, checking back over my calcs, I put 55 profile for the OEM\'s !

So 225 or 235 front with 35 profile
I calculate 265 or 275 rear with 30 profile should be good to go to ?

Cheers, Craig

Have never done 275\'s on one but don\'t see why it should be a problem

I have  225/35ZR19 on 8.5x19 (front) and 275/30ZR19 on 10.5 x 19 (rear) and ride height dropped by about 40mm and have no problems at all.

Wow.. sounds sweet. Can I ask what offsets you are running ?
