Replacement Battery from Halfords

Haven\'t driven the car for a few weeks so put the charger on last night ready to go to Brooklands.  This morning the battery charger said it was still charging - the battery was not taking a charge .  Not many places to buy today so off down to Halfords, lookup the FD and they offer a HB005 or a heavy duty version the HCB005.  Bought the C version for £60, fits the stock battery tray and car started first time  

The new battery has a sight glass - what should I be looking for?

nothing i think most batterys now are sealed  units and require no topping up
