I can\'t find a workable link to download the full details, spec, elect, pictures etc of the air-con on the 1994 FD. Can anybody help. It\'s for my charge cooler project, Thanks.

I have a box of Air-Con parts, pretty much everything bar the Condensor, but that may be obtainable.

They\'re Denso, pulled working from a \'96.

If I can help with anything specific then do reply. You\'re more than welcome to anything you may wish for.

Cheers.

.. additionally you\'ll find diagrams of how it generally fits together at www.iluvmyrx7.com in acrobat file RX7 95 BODY a.pdf

Hope that may help.

mm. I ve been wondering what it would take to get an aircon going for the 323...........

Martin,

From what I\'ve read the principles behind them are practically all the same I believe, any scrapyard aircon shouldn\'t be much different to this one.

Whether there\'s the space to do it in is another matter. Both the compressor and the tank are good heavy chunks of metal you\'ll have to find room for. You may be better off taking the one out of your MX5, if for no other reason than when you need it to be cooler you can just lower the roof.

MX-5 doesnt have one, (Uk Model). I know a lot of the 323s in South Africa had aircon, especially my 80\'s shape, which had a much longer run there than the rest of the world, so I have toyed with the idea of trying to get the used parts from there.

Maybe I could just get the belt, bracket and pump from there, and then sort the rest here myself.

wedgiekray

sorry, I nearly always naively think Eunos are the same spec as MX-5s.

.. and where I refer to \'tank\' I mean the case which holds the evaporator and expansion valve, assuming the 323\'s is a similar design then if you\'re going to spend money on postage for the compressor you\'d probably want to import both of these items at least. The belt\'s I would buy new from a supplier, a used one from SA may have seen much wear and tear?

The plumbing would probably make a nice and fun DIY project though.

I\'ll take some photo\'s of this kit anyway incase anyone\'s ever interested in what it all looks like, I\'ll see if I can label them too plus I\'ll throw it on the scales in the interest of the RX7 weight watchers on the forum.

Cheers,

Many thanks for your help. I was looking in the wrong place.
The reason i want the layuot etc is that i have fitted a PWR Charge Cooler kit and want to link in another smaller c/c that has air-con gas cooling the water even more. Early days yet but the idea works on paper it\'s just about working out the practical side now. I will keep you posted.:wave :wave :wave
