Well guys, only seven days or 168 hours or 10080 minutes or 604800 seconds, till i pick my Rex up (But who\'s counting) :) lol!

Can\'t wait, going to be like christmas all over again! Of course i intend to be taking the drive at home extremely carefully, so if one of you guys overtakes me on the M62 east, when i\'m doing 20mph, just be patient (only kidding, but will not be doing over 70mph, thats a def) At least till i get used to the handling etc of the RX anyway.

On a side note, was just wondering how easy it is to change the side repeaters? Is it just a case of popping them off, removing the bulb, fitting the bulb into the clear repeaters then popping the clear repeaters back on??

Hopefully see some of you guys in the New Year!! :wave

Stunning car - a work of art, congratulations!

It\'d be very wrong for this beauty to miss it\'s destiny by being used for the shopping run and brief traffic light drags.  It needs proper use :)  Plus venting your need for speed on tracks/strips helps keep you license intact...

Lucky bugger :D

no worries there iain!!!

No shopping runs for this car, maybe the odd drag off the lights, just to upset the local boy/girl racers, chavs and chavesses!!

I will be attending RS \'05!! Though not sure i\'ll be brave enough to take the car up the strip (been a complete novice that is). Though future drag runs will be on the cards (once i\'m feeling alot braver and not so worried about something on the car going BOOOOOOOOM, as i tear up the strip).

Maybe some of the more proffessional drag strip junkies on the forum could help us rookies out by posting a thread on launch techniques and when best to change gears?? I\'m sure this would help alot of people. including me out!

Cheers for now
