Freddy

why is he running such low boost?

Poss a fc, have my eyes set on one here. :)

grinder

low boost means long engine life :)

and i would be happy at 342 RWHP - saying that a standard turbo is only 202 at the fly :)

are you gonna splil the beans on the FC then ?

Hi Freddy,
I was pushing my injectors near the limit at that boost. I will be revamping the fuel system next year, for some big flow. For the T88 you will need port work loads of fuel and a fair bit of R+D on the ecu settings.
I am getting full boost at 4600ish, building from 3700. The T88 series is very large and as long as you are not planning on running her for daily use, you will be able to put down a fair bit of power. BTW if you look through the older Jap catologues, Trust never designed the T78 and T88 for the FC. Having the T4 footprint allows them to fit though.

If you need any advice what so ever, give me a shout as there is alot needed to run these systems safely.

Hi John,

Thanks will need your advice once I have her full spec. I would have thought the reasoning for running low boost may have been due to fuelling issues.

I suppose running the V mount on yours plays a major part in any big turbo set up such as this.
