i have got a PFC and i was wondering what temps everyone is running on the them at peak.

Ant,

the standard setting is 95oC for the fans to come on, in the summer you will regular see 80oC + temps but this time of year while driving the water temp should be below 90oC unless stuck in heavy traffic???

While driving mine is 74oC but i have a huge aftermarket rad.

Around 85 normal running, my fans kick in at 93, rarely has it got past 94 in heavy traffic. Thats with a standard rad mounted vertically behind a FMIC.

cheers that is brilliant i haven\'t really noticed the temps at the moment with the cold weather but it seems about right for the summer temps.

i have got a standard rad, do you think it would be better to get an uprated one?? how much would a decent uprated rad be and where could i get one from?

also can you change the temps for when the fans should kick in on the PFC

cheers ant

Ant you are in luck since you are in Manchester,

Contact WGT engineering who can do both, provide you with a bigger rad and change the fan settings if you wish to do so, call Pip on

tel: 01606 48866

They are based in Northwich off J18/19 M6:)

Not too sure about the remap as although i have had my rx mapped there i also had new injectors put in so not sure about just the mapping side of things Ant.

Got so many receipts dont know where to start looking, but give Pip a ring mate, hes very friendly and helpful, i\'d give him 10/10 for customer care!!:)

woah!

my rex is comlpletely standard and I regularly run at about 85- 90oC, but when i cane it it usually goes up to 100oC, as it does in heavy traffic. it sometimes (but very rarely) creeps above 100oC.

I am using crappy coolant though, could this be why i\'m getting high temps? if so, can anyone here recommend a good coolant?

cheers
