Hi Guys,

i don\'t know if my 95 FD3S have OE injectors.

The car runs with PFC very "rich".

How can i test it, if i have OE or modified injectors?

Color Code ?? What color have the OE Injectors ??

Thx

Dont go by the colour of the injectors. Check what they are set to in the PFC.

Some stock injectors are re-bored to flow more juice.

I have a Commander, but i think the commander shows what i adjust in the commander, or can the commander show the sizes by alone.

I have modified the car with a PFC + Commander. But before it was installed a Greedy E-Manage. I have put out the Greedy E-Manage and OE ECU and installed the PFC + Commander.

I don\'t know why was installed the greedy E Manage but perhaps the owner in Japan had built in bigger injectors and the car runs wrong with standard attitudes on the PFC.

I also need to much of fuel.

Any Idea ?? How can i test it ??

Thx

Peter

Sorry for spelling mistakes

Nobody has a Idea ???

Please help...

How rich is very rich? Is it very rich all through the rev range, or only primary stage, secondary stage, or both?

Does the secondary fuel rail look standard? Do you think the primary injectors are stock?

If so, worst case is 1300 cc secondaries, otherwise they could be anything in there! Primaries could be 550\'s or 850\'s if they look stockish.

The only 2 ways you will be able to find out for sure:

1) is to slap it on a lambda sensor and check your a/f\'s, and use reverse calculations to work out what they are or....

2) Rip them out and get them flow tested.

Does the E-manage not tell you anything?

Thx for the answer.

How rich i don\'t know. It is long time ago, but i know that it was only rich on Full Throttle (Secondary Stage).

I have seen the fuel rail is stock.

The emanage i have put off for 6 months, so i don\'t know if the data was already saved in the system. But good idea, i will check it by a friend he has a logging tool.

One question!

What happens if i change the injectors by the FC Commander, without i know what injectors built in ??

Example: I change the secondarys to 1300 and there are no 1300 built in ??

Thx again

You could easily blow it up through running lean doing that, assuming you have stock secondaries :(

Stock power FC runs an FD at around 10.5:1 air/fuel ratio on full throttle, if you went any richer, the car would bog down, which you would notice.

My best guess, if it runs, they are probably stock injectors, or at least very close to stock. Aftermarket injectors always seem to be at least 50% bigger than stock!

Peter10654

Thx again.

If i have really stock injectors, do you have any idea what could it be, why the car runs rich and need much of fuel ?

If i have test it, i give you response.

Thx

It runs rich because the stock maps are very rich, for safety.

If you manage to tune it, you\'ll probably be taking some fuel out of the maps, not adding it!

Yes.... I manage to tune it.
