Lighter Stuck

Need a bit of help, i went to plug a mates road angel into my lighter / accessory power port and i couldn\'t get the bit that gets hot out of the dash. I gave it a bit of a tug and the whole assembly came out, revealing wires etc

Am i being a bit of a thicky or would it appear to be genuinely stuck? If so any advice of how to remove it or isn\'t it worth it, and would i be better off getting another from a breakers etc.

they are universal usually ... Halfrauds may have one for a few £ either that or try a proper parts shop

Really?? So i might be able to get a complete unit from Halfrauds (hot bit and bit that fits in the dash) take of the necessary bits from the stuck one to fit the new one in the dash??

Hmm might be worth a visit.
