OK, these are not well!

Maybe worth knowing we have supplied five new full PP engines in pieces over the last year to a french company building replica works Gen 1 NA engines.

He is not wanting full big PP housings Clive but wanting to build a semi PP using small Peripheral ports along with side ports still.
They match to combi port manifolds.
That's something we have done in the past too.

There's something to be said for using rotor housings that have been through many heat cycles for bigger power rather than new ones...

Yeh, I think these are junk tbh, one might be OK for a mediocre build but not for what I'm aiming for.

Just trying to find the name of the company that re conditions them

We do that when they are useable Grant. Been doing for many years.
Those housings aren't so good enough for reconditioning though.

yes they are the same size and bolt pattern, the clutches are different on the high and low power rx8 models but the flywheels are the reason and can be interchanged I dont know why Mazda did that except the low power is slightly heavier flywheel.
The high power 6 speed flywheel is compatible with the rx7 albeit slightly lighter.
Clutch lave cylinder gets in the way of all earlier back plates where the oil filter housing goes but can be made to work using an RX8 modded oil filter housing. Its a bit of a faff.

Some good ideas are taking fruition
Hopefully will get it into an " interesting " vehicle :13:

Here is a better pic I hope of what I'm working on now.
Thinking what to put it in, I like the idea of a First gen RX7 but might go the MX5 route,
Or even a motor bike but that might be a bit complex.
Going to run it it naturally aspirated and around 200hp
Any suggestions as to what i can run it in?
Rear wheel drive and unusual be good  :)

Its a 1 liter 10b single rotor I am projecting it to be around 200hp Naturally aspirated around 10,000 rpm
