Quote from: TiddlesRX7;597825Sorry to hear this. Sad to see yet another FC broken :(
On the plus side there are plenty of scavengers on here that\'ll gladly take parts off your hands (me being one of them!). What colour is the car? I\'m after a passenger side front wing (maybe a bumper too) in red. Oh and maybe the splitter also.

Hi Adrian,

Ive got a front bumper and possibly n/s wing in red :Giggle Gimme a bell ;)

Mapped for

Hi All,

My T2 will be up for sale very soon.... Due to a new addition to my collection and the fact that I have started uni and traveling 100miles a day. I did have plans for this car and had imported loads of trick bits to stick on it, but I hav\'nt the time and the fact of the addition of my new FC the parts are now surplus.

J plate FC3S T2 U.K. model in white with rotechniks engine rebuild approx 20k miles ago recent clutch, KN filter, stainless full exhaust from turbo back, Re amemiya ecu. Mot\'d and tax\'d. Lots of history!

Parts for sale soon....

OS Giken twin plate clutch for FC (Will fit FD with a pull / push converter)

Exeedy Hyper single clutch. (Will fit FD with a pull / push converter)

Yoshi toothed belt / pulley drive system no more water pump slip! Very rare even in Japan!

Front and Rear strut bars (G-reddy and or Cusco I think, will have to have a look)

Re amemiya rear spoiler x2

Various remapped ecu\'s from Japan

Intake system with four additional injector ports

Kei Office KS-05R wheels

Two stroke oil injection conversion

Plus loads of other bits I cant think of right now!

2nd generation RX-7's / wonky(ish) steering?!?!
October 04, 2008, 09:39:25 AM
If your FC has been lowered... Then you will have increased camber and toe in, both of which will cause road surface tracking. Even after you have the tracking done this will only eliminate the toe in. As there is no adjustment for camber... Unless you have adjustable camber top mounts.

2nd generation RX-7's / Caliper swaps?
September 26, 2008, 11:48:15 PM
Quote from: m1tch;540686But the FD calipers will fit, but not the disks? What are the advantages to the FD calipers? im guessing they are 4 pot the same as the FC

If I remember correctly... FC FD disks share similar diamentions its the bells that differ. Advantages for the FDs are rigidity hence less caliper flex and more braking power. I think they may have a larger pad area or bigger pistons.

Quote from: m1tch;540655Hmm well it seems they either need rebuilding, or changing lol does anyone know if FD disks will fit?

I\'m not 100% sure but I think FD disks wont fit the FC. You could check by measuring the disk bell (measure the depth from the face your wheels mount onto. to the disk surface) If they are the same measurement as your FC disks then your one step closer to getting them on. If they differ (which I think they do) then they wont.:Thumbs-up

2nd generation RX-7's / Tyre size

Quote from: G@NDY;512145Hmmmmmmmm, what to do what to do? good idea to go to a garage and try some. Need the widest rubber I can get, so its ready for the track ;)

Andy, its not all about the widest rubber.... You could easily fit 225 front and 235 or 245 rear, but you will be prone to tyre roll. My car felt much better and turned better with 215 front and 225 rear than it did when I ran 225 all round.
