Nissan wheels fit although the centre bore is larger so make sure you do them up in opposites (excuse the spelling).
Used 300zx wheels as my daily ones and had s14 drift wheels

I was being pikey and trying to avoid buying kits (although it might work out cheaper and easier in the long run :Giggle ).
Cheers Flatout, anything you find out will be helpful......I\'m finding it a tad confusing. Kinda need all the bits in front of me to work it out as I\'m useless with diagrams :2Confused

2nd generation RX-7's / Removing ABS

Couldn\'t find exactly what I wanted in the (US) workshop manual but it appears that ABS was an optional extra on the turbo, no mention of it on the EGI.
That would tie in with the EGI I had having no ABS and the couple of pictures of EGI engine bays I\'ve seen on here didn\'t have it either.
Will check my UK Haynes manual but hopefully I should just be able to use the EGI lines instead of chopping the existing ones about. :Thumbsup!
Anyone breaking an EGI ? :WaveBye

Hi all,

My ABS unit has been removed but I have a couple of questions.

1) Which line is which from the master cylinder ? (ie front/rear).

2) What sort/size of t piece do I need to split the lines ?

I know it\'s lazy not researching this myself but was hoping someone had already done it and could give me some pointers :Giggle

External or internal trim ? Let me know what you need and I\'ll see if I\'ve got it.

2nd generation RX-7's / Egi?

Welded diff makes things interesting. You\'ll get a lot of juddering from the rear at low speeds (sub 10mph), when turning and parking for example.
For some reason it makes it more awkward to drive in traffic - I\'m guessing the lack of low down torque as I\'ve driven my mates s13 with a welded diff and it didn\'t have the same problem.
It\'ll make it a bit more understeery in the wet but I\'ve got really pants tires on the front which don\'t help.

However, it makes things so much easier when drifting. You\'re able to maintain the slide without it suddenly snapping back like it does with an open diff.

If you can get yourself to the next day at Lydd (16th July I think) then I\'m more than happy to take you out for a passenger ride :)

2nd generation RX-7's / Egi?

Realistically, you won\'t use the full lock for ages........having more just helps if you **** up, as does more power.
I\'d say go for an EGi to start with. They\'re cheap enough to be almost disposable (sorry guys but it\'s true) and most drift mods can be taken off and transferred if you get a Turbo II later on.
