If it\'s FWD it has to be good! If its RWD it needs to be decent MPG and fast but not a girls car? lol

A bit of everything really seeing as the engine blew! 
15 mpg is never good at £1.40 per litre!!
Will be getting something more like 30 mpg now methinks!
Any suggestions??

I have decided that I am not in a position to get a new engine for my FD & sad to do this.
It is a chaste white 1997 Type-R2 shell with no block or clutch but I have all the other parts including a good set of turbos bought from a member on here.
It has a blitz nur spec exhaust, hks ssqv bov and 17" buddy club p1s in white and i think its lowered on bilstein springs. The knightsports front bumper is cracked but still on the car. Inside it has leather rear seats and suede front seats with apexi boost and temp gauges, and an hks boost controller and turbo timer! Also original rear upper strut brace and aftermarket front upper brace!
The car has covered approx 80k miles. I am the only UK owner.
Super 7 autos removed the block and clutch when the engine went and said that the chassis is in very good condition and never been in an accident.
Overall it is a pefect base for someone to pop an engine in and have a perfect example.

Can you use NGK EG and/or EGV spark plugs in an FD?
for example B9EG or B9EGV

Lol I learnt to control the pops by sharply jabbing the throttle a little and it popped every time

Ok thanks, I can\'t say I know what a decent whoosh sound is like but I\'m guessing a slightly punchy\\pressured sound?
Would this be a quieter sound than a piston engine because of the fact the 3 divisions of the \'chamber\' are smaller? Or is it the opposite?
And I\'m guessing the apex seals/tips should just look fairly squared and thick to be in good order?
