Would it be an awful lot of trouble if I asked for the part number, and if you ascertained it was definitely the right one please? Thanks for the info, there are dozens of the damned things, many very similar with subtle differences :( Cheers Shaun!

Apart from Mazda has anyone found a source for the 100 Amp alternator rectifier blocks? I need to fix a dead alternator. I have bench tested the regulator and it\'s fine, but the rectifier is dead on one section of the bridge. I think the alternators are made by Mitsubishi. I am sure *SOME* auto electrical place in the UK will list them, but who?  Thanks for reading.

I am putting a Swedish made Tractive sequential gearbox in my FD and  need to order the right ratios and drop gears for it. What freely  available diff ratios are available for these, and are all the crown  wheel and pinions as strong? I would probably run a Giken LSD on this.  As an aside, what\'s the  widest rear rim and tyre package that will go under the stock arches and  allow full unimpeded suspension travel without tyre fouling? I have a  customers Feed bodied FD here on 10 inch rear rims, but the steel arches  looks considerably altered beneath the glass fibre extensions. Can you  get a ten inch rear rim and suitable tyre under stock steel wheel  arches? Thanks.

What is the purpose of scalloping them, is it for weight reduction, or something more? Can you still get new Turbo 2 LC rotors? Thanks.

Do you mean the actual flange the wheel mounts on, or the upright of the suspension?

As a follow up which balancing companies in the UK are experienced at balancing rotary engine components? Thanks.

Only in America could such a thing be envisaged and then actually created..... :)

General Technical / Best kit for fitting LS1 to an FD?

I may be asked to fit a Chevy LS1 to a currently stock FD, and I believe there are various kits available. Is the car being RHD an issue? Has anyone got experience of any of these and any comments to make? Are there any good build sites for these swaps, I seem to recall one being linked to on a different forum (Supra forum, actually, but I can\'t find the link)? Has anyone done the swap using an auto box? Cheers.

Are there any commercially available dry sump kits for three rotor units? Any idea of weight, dressed with bare minimum of ancillaries for race usage? Any problems cooling the things (engine water coolant wise), given the constraints of space in the nose of an FD, for race usage. Thanks.

How much info is around on putting a race spec N/A 3 rotor in an FD? I know I said I\'d never own another rotary, but madness is on the wind. I might swerve at another turbo two rotor, but an NA triple kind of appeals. Any hard core info on this around? Can you peripheral port a triple? Thanks.

Anyone owned M40RXT, a black FD manual? Info on car appreciated, thanks.

Grizzly, I just love info like this. I use HKS cast single turbo manifolds on Skyline engines, they too start to crack at the divider (two sets of 3 runners into a divided TO3 or TO4 flange). So HKS make an UNdivided manifold for the FD as WELL as a divided one, do they? I learn something every day, cheers.

Grizzly: Are you saying you have had 3 cast iron single turbo manifolds crack?

Thanks guys.

Who makes a decent cast iron TO4 flange single turbo manifold for the FD? thanks.
