Has the idle problem now been sorted?

I stumbled across this: http://www.turborx7.com/rereplacement.htm

Do any knowledgeable peeps know where the original info came from in terms of which workshop manual?

For instance, it says "As for the vertical scratches of the Rotor Housing edge,  the Rotor Housing is re-useable even if the steel base under the chromium  plating is exposed, if this has occurred no more than 2mm (0.08 in) from the  edge." along with other visual criteria.

In my 1995 workshop manual it just says "Check the chromium plated surface on the rotor housing for scoring, flaking and other damage."

I\'m guessing the info is a collection of rebuild info from across the different models and therefore various workshop manuals?

I know on the Pineapple Racing website they mention Mazda\'s tolerance of 2mm regarding the chromium plating and go on to say its too much damage for a quality rebuild.

I would be a bit concerned using tolerances from different models as they obviously don\'t operate in the same conditions, such as NA/Turbo, etc.

What does everyone else think?

Would be the tensioner. Power steering pulley is splined and has no bearing, tensioner has a bearing that commonly goes and makes a lot of noise.

Stock RX7s have a heat sensor connected to the cat. When some people decat they don\'t earth the heat sensor which causes the heat light on the dash to stay on. No biggy.

Yeah I think Paypal is 60 days. Have they given a reason why its still with the courier and no tracking number? If not I would send a letter (Recorded Post) to Rotary Art explaining in detail from start to finish how you\'ve been fobbed off and that you want your money back. State you will give them 7 days from receipt of the letter to refund your money or you will take legal action. Wait the stated time, if no joy still just fill out a Small Claims Form online. Quite straight forward and very effective  www.moneyclaim.gov.uk

Quote from: Dragun;782568Hmmm.....I thought the fuse was there and the relay was somewhere in the drivers side kick panel??

No mate, the horn relay is under the bonnet in the relay box by the front bumper.

Sorry if it sounds like an obvious question, have you checked the horn relay in the relay box by the front bumper? Mine was missing when I first got the car.

Are you asking how to clean your spark plugs in the future? If so, spray your spark plugs with some carburetor cleaner and then use a wire brush to clean off any carbon. Let the carb cleaner evaporate, job done. I\'ve never had any problems using this method.
