thanks chaps! :)  Very keen to get it back on the road - treat to myself for a promotion at work...!  (that, and I want my wee ones to grow up with cool cars in the family)

also gives a single point of contact for all things FD.  Although it\'ll cost a few pennies more, it\'ll mean if anything goes awry, it\'s just the one person to deal with - something that I wish I\'d done a few times over the years.  Good call imo!

Good luck getting it sorted...

Righto, so what with life and all getting in the way of important rotary and car stuff, I\'ve finally given up trying to do it and have started shipping it off to have stuff done.

Paintwork completed...














OK, I\'ll admit, it\'s probably better than I would have done, maybe. At least they didn\'t laugh in my face (as requested) when I dropped it off and collected it...

Hey Clive - thanks for the reply!  having spent a long time with the twins, and finally getting round to stripping it all back, it\'s awesome how much space is around it!

I\'ve been shown a diagram with what all the connectors do, so will be using that to strip it back...  all the protective sheaths are knackered and crunchy, and a couple of the connectors are decidedly second hand, so rewiring will be a good thing to do...

looking forward to seeing how much can go
