great post shaun

very helpful for anyone looking to do this.

one thing i\'d add - you can buy battery isolator switches online for a couple of quid. if like me you dont use the fd very often you can push a button to effectively disconnect the battery without having to get tools out.

is this properly plug and play or does it involve butchering the loom? does it screw into the stock location properly or require re tapping?

3rd generation RX-7's / Mazda car cover
December 12, 2009, 01:32:41 AM
being waterproof wont mean it is useable outside. it will need to have teather points of some sort so that it can be tied down. without this it wont last one night outside. the inside will need to be different too. i have £100 cover at home specialist for outdoor use. it tore all the elastic tie straps and wind caused it to rub the paint so bad it damaged some areas almost to the point of needing repainting.

i would reccomend a garage and a cotton sheet not an expensive cover

its an rx7
they are "alive"
no other cars are
this is normal
you can call it "kit"

inadvertantly making an rx7 more unreliable than when you started....cruel justice :p

great power. shame it looks like a 4x4 chav monster truck.

dare i say it though - the RB26 is more unreliable than a ....el.

i like the idea of hybrids esp the 1jz and LS7s but that it because i fall under the not having "the balls to do it the right way"!! :p
