3rd generation RX-7's / KGParts.com

Hi mate.

Just to confirm you\'ve got Kit B? As this kit should come with all the fittings and hose you need.

Im running twins still and have located my fpr on the passenger side front suspension cover. (the bit that goes rnd the suspension, not sure what its called!) I fitted one house from the fuel rail to the fpr into the side hole and the bottom hole goes down and loops back up to connect to the rear fuel return line.

Injectors should come with there own connectors as the standard plugs dont fit the new 1600cc injectors. Fuel rail should fit in nicely, bit of a squeeze to get the fuel rail attached to the delivery pipe but does go on.

Vacuum line has been taken off under the UIM, same place the stock one comes off. I can try and get some pics up but not till the weekend. Any probs give me a pm and ill try n help.

I fitted my kit B a couple of days ago. I\'m still running twins and I\'ve managed  to fit the kit somewhere it doesn\'t obstruct anythin. Looks sweet aswell.

Hi mate

Check out the web site on my signature bar. That\'s my mates race car prep company and he is rebuilding mine at the moment with updated twins and a whole heap more.

Or email me: aeseaton@hotmail.com

I didn\'t go forthe solid ones but wish I had now. I\'m going to order some through Clive as they\'re in stock and fairly cheap. Quids in!

Hi peeps.

Urgent rebuild question. When re building the rotors I\'m using hurley corner seals but I\'ve got none of the plastic end pieces that slot in to hold the tip steady. Can I re use my old 1s? If not where can I get some from cheap and quick.

It all depends on what sort of use you\'re looking for. Road use i would suggest falken 452s or possibly a set of Yoko to the same spec (ie Parada or the S drive). These will give you good performance in the dry and wet on roads.

However if its track use then you cant go wrong with either Toyo 888s or Yoko A048s in my opinion. Or you could be super cool and drop a set of used slicks on there, if youve got a set of 17" wheels though (cheap on ebay if you find the right ones!)

Hope this helps mate.

I had to heat it up with oxy-acetalene and then swing like an ape from the 3/4" breaker bar. What a sight! At least its off though.

I solved the dilemma. It was me being a retard and not looking in the correct place for the letters. Lol.

Hi guys.

Just pulled the motor apart and after watching the rebuild dvd i was looking for the rotor letter and found the letter "S"???

I thought they were labelled A,B,C,D,E??

Anyone have an idea what this means? Also anyone have a rear rotor, housing and end plate just sat in there garage collecting dust?? Cash waiting..

Ayup mate. Yeah it has been a while. I was just reading your rebuild threads. Were off to buy a 3/4 drive tomorrow as we\'ve only got 1/2 inch. I tried heating the nut up today but didn\'t seem to help, mind you, the blow torch wasn\'t too string either. Lol. Can you drop me a pm withtour number mate as I might well be phoning you tomorrow for advice. If you don\'t mind of course.

Hi guys

Im at a halting point on the rebuild process. After an amazing night last night and getting the engine out in only 2 and a half hours today ive had a bit more of a slow process. Got the engine stripped down to its last parts but cant for the life of me get the front pulley nut off. Ive tried air gun, big bar, bigger bar, scaffold pole, but nothing will shift it??

Is it a normal right hand thread or reverse thread? Also what tool do people use to get it off??

Help please.

3rd generation RX-7's / Rear Fog Light Problem
December 10, 2008, 09:48:55 PM
Hi mate.

Ive converted the centre section of the rear lights to be my fog light. Looks good as you dont have a naff looking fog light hanging off your car. The best option is to try and convert one of your old lights into it, its fairly simple and doesnt take too long as long youre handy with snips and crimps.

Guys.

Found this company through a mate who does track day rental as a business. Seem to work out good for the younger drivers amongst us.
