im going to have one of the buttons on the fob for engine start up, by doing this makes all Thatcham approved devices void. so i dont need that, and iv read so many stories of bad installers and dodgy installed alarms, id rather do it myself.

Iv installed a few alarms before, just none have used this set up for the immobilser

i only asked because it has a plug on the wires that should plug into something, but i have nothing to plug into ?

ok, iv started my install, and so far

iv wired the constant +12v supply straight to the battery, and the +12v with ignition i have used the supply to the heater fan (seems fine)

Iv earthed the system with a self tapping screw (seems fine)

iv wired it into the the interior light to activate the alarm when the doors are opened (works fine)

Iv added a switch to activate the alarm when the bonnet opens (works fine)

iv wired the alarm into the indicators via the flasher unit (works fine)

Now iv come to the immobilser side of it, it has 4 wires (2 have blue tape on them, 2 have white tape on them) for the 2 circuit immobiliser from the alarm that go to 1 plastic plug, does this mean i need something to plug onto this ?
Im planning on just using the starter motor for immobilisation, not using the coil pack or fuel pump (heard about problems)

So basically im stuck on what to do with the 4 wires :confused: ??

iv just bought a Toad Alarm, the Ai606.

im going to be fitting it myself, well hope to be!
Is there any particular things i should know before installing it?
Any things i should do before i fit it ?

i got mine with 22,000 on clock for £5200! Bargain!!!!

so 4k is unlikely!

Yeah it remembers, i asked Re:worx, as i have put my car away for the winter months in the garage, and have disconnected the battery. checked with Re:worx 1st though, they said it would be fine!

well better be as iv had it disconnected for over 2 months now! And its not coming back out untill March!

Hi Guys,
           im pretty new here, im Nath from Maidstone in Kent. so Hi to all reading this. Basically iv just taken my Rx7 off the road for the winter, and have decided to tidy up the engine bay. i have a RE-Amemiya air filter and noticed it was real dirty so decided to clean the filter element. I decided to wash the foam. but itfell apart before i even got it near the sink. So i need a replacement. All id like to know is, can i just make my own from foam ? or is the foam a special type of foam ?? as iv only managed to find it in 1 place on the i-net and its £85, just for a bit of foam!

Hi guys, im Nath, im 21 and have bought myself an 1994 Rx7


I bought my Rx7 2 months ago! its a Type R1.
Iv just bought myself a Apexi Power Fc with Comander and need somewhere to have it re-mapped and fitted ect......

I live in the South East (Kent) and wonder if anyone has any recomendations ?

Any help would be good, thanks Guys
