Due to a family tragedy last night I won\'t be making the trip to Abbeville.

I have spoken to Paul (Lotus on Track) and he is doubtful if this space can be sold - hence its basically free (I have already paid for it) to any takers if you can get a Eurotunnel crossing and the time off.
I have managed to postpone my eurotunnel booking (July 25 - out @ 5:48 and back @ 22:50) so this may be bookable if someone needs it (unfortunately they won\'t allow me to change the name on mines).

So if someone definitely wants this space - let me know and I\'ll pass on your details to Paul (and Mark and Cheryl) - but first ensure you can get a tunnel booking.

Mark, Cheryl - if you know anybody that wants this space - please let Paul and me know.

Just one small point on the tyre pressures.

If you\'re doing short sessions then this is good advice but if you are doing longer sessions (5 laps and over), I would take 3-5 psi out of the tyres as the added heat that is generated increases the psi.  I\'ll be running Toyo 888\'s on 18\'s with 25 psi. (if you do this however just make sure you have a warm up lap to get the heat into them).

I tend to agree with Sicknote - I am using F1s (yes...Goodyear, Dave!!!)  on 18s with 26-27 psi cold pressure.

On a side note - been meanign to change my F1s for something more track focussed - any suggestions?

Have not used them myself but heard that Yokohama A048Rs or Toyo R888 are briliant for dry track use.
I use the Dunlop Eagle F1s good allround tyre for everyday use and occasional track.

Excellent, I\'l wait over the weekend to see who else is interested, then contact MSV about any "offers".

If they will give a similar offer i.e. less £30 for the group + £20 MRC membership discount - then that will be really good value. The £50 discount will then be used in petrol:3gears-rh
