Lo.

I saw a black FD who went through the mc D\'s drive through in norwich town this morning about 12.

The rx was very quiet, and had really nice bbs style wheels.

Anyone here?

Hey guys,

I wasn\'t quite sure in which section to put this so im sorry if its in the wrong place!!

I need a RX7 friendly MOT station to take my single turbo FD to in Feb. I am based in cambridgeshire.

Can anybody recommend a garage that won\'t murder my car because of its single tub setup?

Thanks :)

Update:

Fixed this problem. Turned out to be a sticky accelerator cable as suspected! :)

General Technical / Interesting Idle Problem
January 08, 2007, 11:17:21 PM
Hey guys, I have pretty much sorted this issue by playing with the idle settings on the Apexi commander. I set one set slightly higher then the first set and now the idle only hunts twice at most.

Most of the time the idle doesn\'t hunt at all now which is really cool :)

With lights and heater my idle is at 1300rpm, and without lights or heater the idle is a dead throbbing 900rpm.

Dead chuffed with that, I will still have to hunt down the suspected vacuum leak but at least in the mean time it\'s not bothering me anymore!

I would be interested in this one too as my exhaust is blowing from there!

Just posting an update.

I have got my car back from the bodyshop but do to time constraints as it was the week before christmas he couldn\'t complete all the work!

He has added the full bodykit, and the work he\'s done is really quite astonishing its all rock solid with a perfect paint match. But unfortunately the popup lights are the things that had to miss their turn! :(

I am moving house soon so I now have £0 to spend on the rex, so I will have to wait a month or two until I can sort out the lights but I have made the decision to lose the vented Scoot bonnet.

I love the look of the bonnet but with smooth popups and a flowing kit it very much sticks out like a sore thumb..

General Technical / Interesting Idle Problem
December 21, 2006, 09:45:22 AM
Hey all.

I am having some interesting idle problems.

Spec:

92, t04s single, smic, 1200cc injectrs, apexi, ported.

The car will start fine and when cold settle onto a 1500 rpm idle.

If I drive it about once its warm it will either comfortably sit at 1200rpm or 900 rpm.

But, the odd bit - if say i\'ve just slowed down to queue in traffic, the idle will swing up to about 1500-2000 rpm then back down to say 900rpm then back up to 1500-2000 rpm. It will do this *exactly* six times then return to perfect idle until the next time i slow down and sit in traffic!

You can count it each time and dead on six perfect idle?

Any thoughts?

Yeah, it is true what people say; if you buy a cheap bonnet then you get the cheap quality :(

It is in the body shop now and it\'s in his more then capable hands so im looking forward to see the result :)
