First post updated with more details.

I'm hoping to get to the show for a day, probably the Friday or Saturday, but TBC.

Lovely to see you and Maria at Beaulieu.

I hope you enjoyed your day and your journey home was better after your RX-8 idle tweak.

Keep us posted on your Elford progress  :icon_thumleft:

(Sent on behalf of LynneE, who is, once again, organising an MRC stand at this show  :notworthy: )

Building on the success of the last two years, the MRC will again have a stand at this year's Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC: the UK's largest indoor show and the grand finale to the classic car season.

This year we will be in Hall 5, alongside our fellow Japanese manufacturers. As neither the RX8OC nor the Ro80 Club will be exhibiting this year, we will be the sole club flying the Rotary-powered flag, so please come along and support us!

In keeping with the 2026 show theme of "Debutants", two of our stand cars have not been seen at the NEC show before: Gavin Barber's very smart FB, and Pete Symons's excellent FC. Alongside my (show veteran 😉) FD, we will have all three generations of the RX7 on display.

The show runs from November 13th to 15th, and will occupy 7 halls at the NEC: featuring over 3,000 classics, 320 clubs, live stages, restoration workshops, the UK's biggest indoor autojumble and 500 cars going under the hammer. November can't come soon enough!

Advance tickets are available now at: www.necclassicmotorshow.com/ticket-information (or scan the QR code in the advert below).

Use our club code CCMAZDAN6 at checkout to unlock the club-exclusive discount: £4 off adult tickets or £2 off family, child & multi-day tickets.

(Online discount applied to Advance prices before midnight on Thurs 12 Nov and Door prices thereafter).
Book by 22 October and you'll help the club earn additional benefits.

Hope to see you there!
Lynne  😊

The RX-4 is looking better than ever in that picture  :love4:

Have a good time tomorrow and at Brooklands. I hope the weather and show at Brooklands is as good, or better, than last year. Sad to be missing it :(

I'm not knowledgeable enough about the original setup to comment on those questions  :dontknow:

As it is hidden, whatever you think works best  :icon_thumleft:
