If there are other Brooklands events or return visits that appeal to you , you could consider Brooklands individual membership for £63 which will get you an entry to other events as well as the Japanese Day.
I don't think this works for the Kool Flo evening meets as I believe Kool Flo hire the venue , so it is their event not Brooklands.

Other mates have joined up and consider it good value

See these threads and Charlie's post. FDOC membership is free. Donations are gladly received. Charlie organised the 2022 bash and ponied up the cost of renting the Bicester Hanger.

Location confirmed - Bicester Heritage- Hangar 113 - near Oxford. Saturday, 12 July.

From Charlie Walford:

"For those who don't know it, it's a pretty slick location, the shot below is from a few years back when we hired it. Costs have gone up abit. Give or take it'll be about 3k for the building all day and the insurance. I think we had 70+ cars last time. Call it 75 this time, that's 40 quid per car. Not to bad I think. I'm happy to pay a deposit if you guys are committed.

Thanks
Charlie"

MRC Forum / Rotary engines and synthetic fuel
November 28, 2023, 05:56:25 PM
In the 01 Nov copy of  Classic Car Weekly( I buy it for the horticulture section ) it was said that Mazda were running their heritage fleet on synthetic fuel.
Another story about running a MX-5 on synthetic fuel is here: https://wkk.usa.mybluehost.me/mazda-just-proved-that-synthetic-fuels-could-be-the-future/#:~:text=Mazda%20sourced%20its%20fuel%20from%20Coryton%2C%20a%20UK-based,into%20hydrocarbons%2C%20which%20serve%20as%20a%20gasoline%20substitute..

I guess Mazda are using Coryton fuel.

Is there any feedback from Mazda to the rotary community about any issues , upsides or downsides on running rotaries in their heritage fleet on synthetic fuel ??

Erm ?

This car was built for a girl by her bodyshop boyfriend and did the UK show circuit 15-16 years ago and then was sold to somebody out in Europe.

Personally I think it would have worked better in a different color.

It has Lambo doors as well.

I have a photo on my PC showing the doors open, but I can't see how to paste it on here.

Where are you located ??. I use Reworx at the moment, but as has been said, some of the work does not require rotary experience. I use a mobile mechanic  who is reading based for general work.

This is the second year that FDOC have turned out for the NEC.

Good show and love the rotor
