Insuring your rotary / Need2Insure
October 30, 2013, 12:34:35 PM
Quote from: marf;866810Davy, can you remember who you spoke to when organising your quote? I got quoted with them and they were cheaper than Sky, but they did say no agreed value. Would like to follow up with them about it :)

His names Richard. He said guaranteed payout was no extra as long as a full list of mods, photos of the car and a letter of value from a reputable garage/club is supplied .
In parts the cars worth thousands more  but 10k is a realistic price.

Insuring your rotary / Need2Insure

Quote from: clive;866806When insuring for each new year don\'t forget as a full club member we can work with you to obtain a proper agreed valuation for your car, so in the event of something nasty you would have funds to replace your pride and joy.

With no agreement they will try and give you back the price of a spark plug,

Sadly I have seen many loose thousands because of having no agreement and never being able to replace their wonderful Rotary.

I should have said it includes £10.000 guaranteed  payout and if required £85 for 4 or 5 track days, can\'t  remember which.

Rang them today and what a great bloke i spoke to. All mods declaired and power @ 480 bhp , 45 years old and a good postcode.
Sky Insurance this year £660 at only 400bhp as power went up last month.
Need2Insure on std policy £480
Need2Insure on modified classic policy £330 and you dont loose your ncd after 2 years.

Full dash for me as well.

Quote from: Brett;794133If you are bold enough to make such a statement then presumably you are also going to post the examples?

So closing Ada7\'s post is not a good example then, I found it quite pathetic.

Quote from: Casey;794118As the issue concerns a member, the thread in question is in the "members only" section of the forum. You can always sign up as a full member and then you can take a look..............:)

I think after all this quite a few wont be renewing memberships next time.
After being an FD owner for eight years i have seen a big change in this site and not for the better.
Give some people a little bit of power and it goes straight to their heads.

I have that bonnet and it does have the std catch but its only resin fixed as its carbon. At high speed it was lifting quite a bit so i put bonnet pins on. Its much better now.

No Pip did it . It is about the same as stock but like all twins its very noisey so i wish i had gone for a good single.

I have the  Twin Exedy Hyper Carbon D. It has a stock feel and well worth the money.I was lucky as i got mine for £1000 from Amber Performance as a one off.
