Yes, it gave the car quite a soft, nicely muffled tone.

Items For Sale / Quiet Mazdaspeed exhaust

I have for sale a quiet 2.5in bore Mazdaspeed exhaust.

This has been sitting comfortably in bubble wrap in my garage for some time as I sold my RX-7 over 3 years ago and later changed to a Racing Beat system when I had it. I now need it gone as moving house and having a clear-out.

Cheap bargain for someone! Collection only from Harrow HA3. £50

3rd generation RX-7's / Should I go bare arse??

Quote from: D1DaddyI\'m in the same dilema.....however i\'ve been told when running more than standard power, that there are serious downforce issues on the rex?
Is this true?

Not according to this article.

And besides wouldn\'t bolting a massive spoiler to the boot just create loads of front end lift at speed?

I. C. E. & Electrical / Wiring guages

12v ignition, ground etc for gauges can be taken from your head unit wiring and lighting from any illuminated dashboard or centre console switch.  The senders can be earthed anywhere in the engine bay.

Got red leathers in mine, was lucky enough to find the front and rear seats from a crashed Type X in a breakers. Sold the rears on here as only wanted the fronts and very happy with them.

I dont find slipping a problem at all, even on the slalom on the first North Weald activity day.

General Technical / Oil Temps In The Summer
May 25, 2007, 09:34:46 AM
Get the same temps as RAW 60 - 70 deg normally and up to 95 if sitting still but always drop quick when moving again.  Only difference the summer seems to have made is that the oil gets up to temp much quicker.

My first map was around £300 and done on Reworx rolling road.  It took around an hour and a half including swapping ecu and changing coil and plug leads.  Main advantage of having it done on the rollers is the power graph printout and its much safer.

Quote from: N777CK Tusing the head unit to select songs is crap...

get a head unit with an aux input 3.5mm hole in the front and plug in your ipod that way with a wire that costs like £2 from halfrauds...

Yeah great idea....

If you\'re a cheapskate and want worse sound quality and a messy dashboard :2Confused

Quote from: Tiger_kptHi Frankie,

The wrong commander situation cannot be my problem as it has been working fine for months. I susepct anyway that if it was the wrong commander... even though the APEXI logo was on screen, the Apexi itself would still work and the car would start. Right???

One question... if I was to unplug the Apexi... would the map that Pip at WGT\'s did for me be lost or erased?

When i said it is the wrong commander that was to Dazpoynter as his has never got past the logo.

But answering your questions yes the car will still start and run fine with the commander screen frozen and the map stays in the ecu memory so it wont be lost if you unplug it.

Quote from: dazpoynterThe thing is when i put the power on it it only gets to the apexi logo and it dosnt go to any menus no matter what buttons i press or even if i leave it for a bit.

Does this mean it isn\'t working properly. I have check all the serial numbers and they match the car.

I recently got an Apexi fitted and mapped and had the same issue with the Apexi logo remaining on screen. You have the wrong commander for your ecu. I contacted the seller who was super cool and sent out another which works perfectly. The logo comes on for a few seconds then it goes into monitor mode.

Tiger_kpt could water have got into your ecu? And i reckon you\'d be ok to put the stock one back in to see if the car starts.
