Quote from: turbotoaster;75108973mm is the size of the exhaust wheel, its not the size of the turbine housing outlet, trust me i know.

73mm is the exducer of the turbine wheel, which when referring to turbine wheels is the internal diameter of the wheel. The inducer (referred to as OD above and given in inches) is 3.14" which is about 80mm by my reckoning. So the size of the exhaust wheel is actually 80mm which is a good size. Remember, inducers and exducers are reversed when talking about compressors and turbines and follow the direction of flow.

Agree that the housing might be a bit conservative though.

Quote from: turbo boy;733071Didn`t that evo have a carbon body tho? Can`t really be classed as a road car when its whole body shell is made out of the black stuff.

Yeah, it was pretty hardcore, but have you seen the Revolution FD? It\'s mostly carbon, tubular front and rear chassis, custom rear suspension etc, etc....

If anything it\'s more extreme than the HKS CT230 and effectively a full race car.

Quote from: Nik da Greek;73301051.something held by the HKS Cyber Evo. For several years now

I think the HKS CT230R record is 53.589sec which is the record for semi-slick track tyres. The Revolution FD is very close with 53.6 and can probably go faster.

All time lap record is 51.785 which was Keiichi Tsuchiya in his GT500 NSX on slicks.

Kind of put into perspective Revolution\'s achievement.

Put on some slicks I say and go for the all out record :)

If you\'re concerned, why not speak to your engine builder to find out what it may be or get it looked at?

It could be a whole host of things.

For info, I\'ve got Recaro SPGs in my FD and according to the Recaro website they measure 590mm across the shoulder wing bits. Admittedly, they do touch the door cards with the door shut but I thought it might useful to know.

Quote from: Ricco_04;587952It says it\'s genuine & has ReAmemiya sticker on (I know thats little proof) so what gives it away that it\'s a copy?

Ignore me - I think I must have been having a blonde day :2Confused

The reason I thought it was fake was because JKL make replicas but maybe this is the one they used to copy in the first place.

Not with the current exchange rates they\'re not.

Anyhow, it\'s a replica and not a genuine one either.

The radiator is at a shallow angle but trust me water temps never go over 80 degrees in normal driving and not more than high 80s on track.

There\'s no needs for any ducting temps-wise. Max Taylor runs this same V Mount on his Nippon Challenge car and Ring car with no probs.

I\'ve got an HKS Super Power Flow on there no worries - there\'s bags of space!!
