I have up for sale a set of East Coast Parts (E&J) ALS 2mm Unbreakable Apex seals

These seals are designed not to shatter and damage expensive components such as rotors, rotor housings, and turbo exhaust wheels. ALS seals are 100% CNC machined to provide a better finish, and a more consistent piece :)

Used in some very high HP engine over in the US

Price is £350

General Technical / Fuel pressure drop and wont start.
August 24, 2014, 01:48:16 PM
Remove the vac line going to the frp and block off the feed pipe, and try and start.

During vacuum condition the pressure line to the frp lowers the fuel pressure from whatever you set it at.

From the vid the pressure gauge is showing a very large decrease in pressure (more than vacuum would cause), so suspect that either your frp needs adjusting/faulty or there is an issue with your fuel pump coming on long enough to clear any air locks.

I\'m not familar with the FC wiring system, on the FD the pump primes for 5 seconds and then shuts off until the engine starts. If you have switch rails then you most likely have drained all the lines and could have an air lock in the rails. If you can jump the pump so that it is continuously running and allow it to run for a few mins to help clear any vapour locks then try and start the car with it running.

General Technical / Help Boosting Problems

As above, using a stock JDM ecu in the UK is just asking for trouble especially if you have a heavy right foot , get a stand alone ecu like the apexi or adaptronic and get it remapped.

Quote from: Scuba;870458Ahhh... Thank you!! That completes the missing link for me!! I got it now. Thank you so much!!
That is so so so straight forward now it has been properly explained to me!!
Clive. Doesn\'t the factory pump already have a 12v feed standard? Or are you saying that its feed is said to be \'12v\' but when actually measured is less?
Thanks once again guys.

The stock system uses a resistor during low load/idle to reduce the voltage to 8v, you can remove this simply by bridging two terminals in the fuel pump relay at the front of the car.

As for when the system is in Normal mode, you tend to find the standard wiring has deteriorated which causes a voltage drop by the time it gets to the pump. Best option is to add a new feed for both the standard intank pump and bosch 044 using two separate relays
