Ahhh.... Finally!! I knew it wouldn\'t take long for pigme to get himself thrown out. Some people have weird issues!

So, back to topic. The Fortune kit isn\'t my favourite kit, but it does have presence. Projects are interesting. Any updates on this, Jamie?

Quote from: AshRXThis thread is so funny lol

Yep, very entertaining...  It\'s like watching a girl fight. The funny thing about it is that the biggest girl here is not even the gay pornstar!
No disrespect intended towards the females or gays, just figurative speech. :cheers

It\'s very obvious now that you have personal issues with Jamie. http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=484179#post484179
My guess would be jealousy. It\'s very childish, rude and uneducated the way you\'re acting pigme. What\'s with the obsession to have (owned and hardly even driven  the damn thing) the only fortune kitted RX-7 in England? Guess what? There are more and more getting built/imported on your island. There\'s nothing you can do about it :p . Whatever your grudge, let Jamie be and move on!
He\'s putting time and effort in to build the car you so much wanted to have, fake or not. That deserves respect! Money can buy you a lot of things, but respect and honour you have to earn by achievement.

2nd generation RX-7's / Unwelcome attention?
January 24, 2008, 01:50:03 PM
I sometimes got them revving their engines, but most of the time they leave me alone. They don\'t even try most of the time.
I\'ve had on two occations nutters try it. One was with a Fiesta and another with a Polo (!) trying to race me. I did just for a laugh. I even asked the guy in the Polo if he was sure he wanted the spanking, lol. :Laugh

2nd generation RX-7's / Unwelcome attention?

Quote from: dthebukthe fd guys must have even more of a problem!!
You have no idea. I\'ve had people following me all the way to my destination, to see the car up close. Others wanted to drive their bumpers into my hatch. Too bad my car didn\'t spit flames.:flamed  The most funny ones are the ones that keep their lane up in front of a green light (when mine is still red) just to get a good look at the car. The most annoying one I\'ve had was some tool that blocked me and others for a few minutes! I was at a stoplight, got green but couldn\'t go because he was on the intersection to go across. He was just sitting there, doing nothing but smile!!! I was just about to get out to see what his problem was when he decided to move along.

General Technical / (urgent)flooded engine
October 24, 2007, 09:41:14 AM
I know, it sounds very strange. I didn\'t know about this method until it was mentioned by hmltnange in post #7.
Googling it brought me right back to this very thread. Obviously I don\'t want to be the second one to try it.  According to rx7aberdeen (post #9, and #11) it works, so I want to know more, if anybody can shed some light on this...:Laugh

General Technical / New to rx7\'s

As said before, that\'s a C-West DRFT nosecone you have and sideskirts from the same kit. Unlike the N1 kit this C-West kit is not very common. The spoiler is Veilside.

Lol When is it due to arrive? I\'m sure all of us who imported our cars know the feeling.
First you\'re all calm and relaxed about it. To kill some time you prowl the forums and look at other cars... go through car magazines, daydreaming about all the things you\'re going to do to it once you have it... thinking about friends reaction when you arrive in it :Ladys-man  etc, etc... Then it hits you.. It\'s still x weeks/days untill it arrives!!! :Grrr
The best part has yet to come: when you go pick it up!! :Santa :Party
I still remember when I went to pick mine up...:InLove Anxiety kicked at the fullest in when I was waiting for them to deliver it at the dock.
Hang in there, mate.

Quote from: michaelb...which I think still looks very now unlike some of the body kits tend to look a bit dated now.

Totally agree on that. Not that I don\'t like bodykits. RE-Amemiya and FEED (not so keen on their latest creation though) are on top of my list of favourites, then you have the new URAS, Vertex and Burnout to name a few.

Tharek/m4drx,  Here you have a pic of the Abflug. I almost forgot to take a pic, so that\'s why I only have these taken with my mobile. I\'m sorry about that. The black spot on the front of the bumper is remnants of a double sided tape. I guess if you\'re handy with FRP then it\'s not totally lost, but I\'m not, so that\'s why I have no use for it.

Thanks Leon, I just noticed your reply. It\'s true. At first I wasn\'t sure about the colour either, but when I first saw it I was in love. It makes the car look very classy.

freestylechaz, I got this bumper from Newera. It depends, really, what Miguel has at the moment. I\'ve seen covers (without reinforcement bar, indicators, lips, etc) go for over $600 in the US. I got this one used for a little less (than same amount) in GBP. A respray in the right colour (also depends on the painter) I\'m glad I did the removal and mounting of bumpers myself.

Quote from: FEED RocketLove the AbFlug one, new one looks very simliar to the original style one, very nice indeed.
Thanks, mate. It is the original factory bumper that came on the \'99-2002 RX-7\'s.

Your car looks a lot like Miguel\'s car when he just got it. He had a similar FEED bumper with silver RE-Amemiya wheels and the spoiler he has on it now. Bet the wait is killing you:D

Quote from: James BSo do I ......... makes the car look longer and is more aggressive / sporty ................ imho ....:flamed

:Grrr Now I have to put the Abflug back on??:spank  Lol, it\'s all good, just joking:chat . I totally agree on the agressiveness. It does look mean. I have been thinking of replacing the old one with another Abflug, but I chose this because of the flexibility and fresh, updated look. I don\'t fancy having to repair possible cracks in the future.

Cheers for the comments:Thumbsup!
