I havent been on here in many years, but back in 2003 to 2006 sort of time i owned a montego blue RX7. (registration K503 UAG)

I wondered if it was still about as according to DVLA its been off road since October 2010

Anyone got it stashed away?

It had a cwest front, racing beat skirts and spoiler with veilside rear spats

I sold it to a guy in the services who lived up sheffield way

Im hoping to return to RX7 ownership in the next few weeks fingers crossed and wondered what happend to my old one

I\'m going to the toby jug for japwales and i think a few others are this monday (4th August) so thought i\'d give it a little bump to the top

We have sold hundreds of them and i\'m sure so have our competitors, no reported problems and at £20 if it didnt work they probably would have let us know by now.

That part of the car is usually pretty similar between models

They are on ebay too if you search for handybar.

Well it just so happens i know of a solution. I work for a disability aids company. We sell this product although we do not manufacture it. It is widely available though

Its called the handybar and you can get a version that also breaks windows if you feel the need

never tried fitting it to the FD though

I\'m still interested and fly back to the UK on saturday morning. Not sure if my wheel bearing has been done yet though

Always best to start with parts that should be ok. saying that ive bought bad plugs before and really confused myself thinking they were ok.

Will you service it yourself?

I will hopefully make the next one as i am out of the country at present.

I dont mind having a look when i get back from china on 25th if you like, maybe between us we can figure it out by just comparing your engine bay with mine, i suggest you get it checked over by a specialist anyways just so you now that the car is running safely with the modfications it has.

General Technical / Drivers Door Won\'t Open??

Fixed mine

The screw that holds the arm plate down over the spring had become loose and the spring was sitting slightly in the gap where the plate goes, therefore couldnt get enough movement to open the door.

All working properly again now but took 2.5 hours to sort the central locking out again.

Having seen most of them come of a production line i would say there is little to no difference.

fram, coopers, unipart, halfords and most of the OEM ones are all off the same line but  go in different boxes.
