Wow, this is my old car, the only parts I recognise are the number plate and storage bins! I can vouch that it did start life as a RZ.
Always sad to see a Rex broken, but needs must I suppose.
Free bump.

If he\'s not using the DPS then he\'s breaking the law. If he gives you any more grief then you could mention this.

Is your deposit held in the Deposit Protection Scheme? If not then he will find it very difficult to evict you anyway. Ask the question at Moneysavingexpert.com, they are very knowledgeable on tenant rights. Also, how does he know your house is dusty? He shouldn\'t be entering the house unless it\'s an emergency.

Except I would argue the banking crisis is very much to do with greed. Bankers make profit from debt; it\'s in their interest for all of us to be in debt and they were only too happy to loan huge sums on self certified mortgages. The politicians loved the house price inflation on their second homes, the public loved withdrawing the equity from their ever rising house prices and the bankers loved the free tax payer money that came their way when they became too big to fail. Sadly since 2008, nothing has been done to fix this and we will crash much harder the second time around.

The problem is there is no money left to pay Public Sector pensions. It\'s a Ponzi scheme. Your contributions pay for your parents pension, and y/our children pay for yours. Of course this works in the good times, but we are heading into a 20 year recession/depression, and there won\'t be enough contributors to keep the Ponzi going. Traditionally PS workers were paid a lower wage on the promise of a decent final salary pension. In the last decade PS wages are the same or higher than the Private sector, this is unsustainable. The country needs huge private sector growth to afford the payments, not to mention our massive defecit that continues to grow. We need a miracle. If a PS worker contributes 4% of their salary towards their pension, a private sector worker has to put in 40% to receive the same. Even the renegotiated terms of this deal is unaffordable. It\'s much worse than most people realise.

Quote20 radioactive cars detained at Vladivostok port

11.04.2011, 12.57

VLADIVOSTOK, April 11 (Itar-Tass) - Twenty cars shipped from Japan were detained at Vladivostok port on Sunday because their background radiation level was exceeded. The press service of the territorial department of the Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service (Rospotrebnadzor) told Itar-Tass that the dangerous cargo was found during a search of the Asian Ice ship. Measurements have shown that background radiation is 1.5-2 times exceeded. The cars are currently in the customs control zone at a special site.

This is the first large shipment of radioactive second-hand cars from Japan. Only single cases of exceeding the background radiation level in them had earlier been recorded.

According to first deputy director general of OJSC Vladivostok Sea Commercial Port Mikhail Chizhmakov, the registered radiation background is only slightly above normal readings, however, Rospotrebnadzor bodies are to give their conclusion regarding safety of the cargo. The cars that do not meet the safety norms will most likely be shipped back to Japan.

check it starts 1st time when hot.
If it\'s still on sequential twins, check both turbos spool up (assuming you can test drive it).

Yes a jump start should deflood her. Before you do that try turning the engine over with the EGI fuse removed (fuse box in the engine, should be labelled). Crank a few times, put the fuse back, then try and start with your right foot flat to the floor then slowly lift the throttle.

Difficulties starting when hot could unfortunately indicate low compression, not flooding. Hope I\'m wrong, as you may be due a rebuild soon. :-(
