Well the day has come...  im on the look out for some sills...  ive contacted Mazda with no joy I'm just hoping and praying you would consider selling a pair of the ones you had made up please? pretty please? Help a fellow RX brother out.

Thx for the email Andrew. I'd love to help but Bridport is a 2+ hour round trip from where I'm visiting on the complete opposite side of Dorset so, regrettably, I won't have time on my next visit in the area

Thank you for getting back to me much appreciated.  That's fine I woundnt want you or anybody going out of there way I was really hoping on the off chance it was close enough for a member to view.  I live in hope as getting time of work is a nightmare!! And I can't see the car hanging about? Gutted.

Good morning,

I know this is a big ask but I don't sopose anybody lives near Bridport in Dorset? I've seen a FC for sale but it's a 16 hour round trip for me to see the car.  If somebody was close to said area and wouldn't mind having a look at the car for and letting me know the findings that would be really appreciated and well worth a drink. 

Please let me know if anybody on here can help me out. And il pass on the owners address.

That's pretty much the floor tub done next on the list is the sill.
now I searched hi and low for sills, doner cars would  more than likely end up in a similar condition so that only left me one option, Mazda.
so I had the guy at my local mazda dealer fax me an exploded diagram of the sill arrangement and it didn't look like a full sill to me but to hell with it.
I waited four weeks for it to finally turn up and its no bigger than my two year old and at £150 I was a little gob smacked.
but again my pal (who does the sheet steelwork at a jaguar e type restoration company) took the sill and formed four copies from the original. sweet! so back to it. well the second pic shows the old sill and then the two welded together sections that will be my new sill.

i Just want to say I've read the whole thread and wow fair play you have brought back this awesome fc to high standards. 

Just one question regarding the sills, can you still get access to them please buddy? as i may be looking for some in the near future so any help will be really appreciated.
