Cars for Sale / 1999 type r mica blue rx7 for sale
September 09, 2013, 05:22:45 PM
Yeah thats a bargain mate and sad to see you go. Nice to meet you all those years ago and I remember your workshop being covered in tools, cars (inc a nice Cosmo) and RX7 bits and laughing about it. Then 4 years on I find my garage looking the same for a bit :)

Good luck with the sale mate but at that price you\'ll have no issues I\'m sure !!

Thanks M1tch, will tread carefully when taking the fuel lines off.

Will I need to plug the lines at all ?

Guys,

Silly question but is there any way of releasing the fuel pressure if you dont have a battery connected ?

I wasnt planning on upgrading my fuel when I took it to bits but halfway through I thought it would be a good idea to do but haven\'t released the pressure at all.

Any thoughts please ? Or should I try and get it back together with the current fueling and get it started then try the pressure reliever method ?

Cheers,
Gareth

Guys,

Hopefully should be getting my new secondary rail and FPR this week. Is there a guide on how to replace the stock ones ? Any tips etc especially with the injectors and collars etc.

Cheers,
Gareth

Was a good afternoon and evening, the weather was certainly hot and not surprisingly saw a few people taking it easier. You might have seen me out on the track with a massive lens :)

A few pics

Rest of the set are here but I am adding more over the weekend, this was just a quick run through this evening....

The settings on MRC seem to resize the pic making it seem a bit blurry, if you look on Flickr they arent like that. Must be some compression somewhere.

Spotted a black FD RX7 coming into Hunstanton.

Looked like a wide arch kit but sounded ace.

Hi mate, the oil is drained out of the car anyway so that shouldn\'t be too much of a problem hopefully.......

3rd generation RX-7's / Help with Twin Turbo removal

Guys,

Currently removing my twin turbo pack, have removed the down pipe now and at the point not to start removing feeds into the turbo pack and the pack itself.

Is there a guide on this or are there any tips ?
Is it true the turbo pack itself separates from the manifold ?

So far its been a pig of a job and I fully expect it to get worse before it gets better

In case you are wondering I am going single so there will be a plethora of other queries / questions later on.

Any help would be ace, cheers,
Gareth
