Annual Rotorstock Meets / Rotorstock 11
August 11, 2014, 02:24:07 PM
Hello All,

I wanted to thank everyone for making Gerald, Jacky and I feel very welcome at Rotorstock 11 a couple of weeks back. Sadly though it looks like it may be the last.

I\'m sorry that we disappeared after parking my bike up but I wanted to have a look round as it was my first visit to Billing. We had planned to return to the cars and chat with club members and introduce ourselves but the rain soon put a stop to that.

I hope our judging decisions didn\'t offend anyone. If I\'m honest we didn\'t have a clue what to look for in the categories. I thought all of the cars were great........ I remember my mother telling me when she buys Christmas presents she looks for nice packaging so thats what we did in our judging.

Thank you so much for awarding me the cup for my Van Veen, I\'m not sure that I deserved it but thanks anyway.

Next show I\'ll bring something else unusual. Perhaps my factory racer?

 Kind regards,

 Buller.

Thanks for your nice comments on my bikes.

Sorry about the smoke but I don\'t use this bike much. I\'m sure it will clear after a good thrashing down the motorway.

As a matter of interest. The grey Norton Commander shown was the first ever one produced and the owner Gerald has the last one too, that one has removable Krauser panniers.

 Regards, Buller.

Sound good, I\'m interested too, depending on the dates.

I\'ll dig out a couple more of my unusual rotary bikes.

 See you there,

 Buller.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply and all the information on the various RX7 models.

I know which one I like the look of but I\'m not sure what series it is, hopefully after this weekend I\'ll be a bit more up to speed with them. Sorry to seam a bit thick but motorcycles are my real interest especially if they are rotary powered.

I think I may have managed to drum up some more interest from fellow rotary bike owners and three or possibly four have said they\'ll come to Billing too.

 Regards, Buller.

Hello,

I\'m new to this forum but not new to rotaries having had my first rotary Norton from new in 1989 which I still have.

As yet, I dont have a rotary car but I keep on thinking about it. Trouble is, I don\'t know what to buy and I\'m not sure that I have the room for another toy.

I will be attending Rotorstock Eleven with two of my bikes on saturday and hope to meet up with a few of you members.

 Kind regards, Buller.
