really depends on what type of car you looking for

Red is always bottom of the pile on colour spec (its not a colour the japanese want)

work it back, from K\'sm/condition import charges etc

£6k is not going to buy alot.

if that is your type of budget, then i would suggest looking in the UK for cars which are already over here and sellers wanting to sell (and quick)

This is the type of quality your looking at for not much more

i work for Newera Japan, and its REALLY hard to find good, clean rust free RX7s

its the same old argument,

condition vs cost/budget

we have supplied a number of FDs in the last couple of months, some being 1 owner cars.

they are as clean as possible,

but all are £10k upwards

having just sourced my own FD, (its in the projects section)i can tell you it was around £15k, but specification & fresh build by Knightsports drove the price.

£6k is very low end of the market to import.

the types of FDs the japanese wont even touch.

just to add on to the comment above.

5-6k will get you a real dog of an import buddy.

prices are over the place as it totally depends on condition as with everything in life.

Thanks the comments

One of the best drives is the *skyline drive near hakone

These types of fds and other cars like gtrs do not go thro the auctions these days

Most are stripped for parts and sent through stock-ish

I can post a spec list as its got lots of hidden extras

Cost would be approx £16,000, although its worth far more in parts

Which is what im paying for the car to be shipped to the uk

hi guys :WaveBye

im matt, and being totally upfront i do work for Newera Japan but i have just bought my first FD :) to compliment my GT-R34.

looking to chat on here with other FD owners :D:3gears-rh

Back in 2002, I always wanted an FD but went the BNR32 route (via Miguel) as the pull of an RB26 was a little too great…

Years have passed, various trips in Miguel’s FD over the years & several GT-Rs later…. a 6month search has enabled me to fulfill a 12 year itch!

special cars come to those who wait.

I won’t go into the full spec list, but it’s got a splashing of Rmagic/Knightsports/Re-Am items combined to produce a very well touge / track car with a recently rebuilt engine, with power provided by a single Apex’i turbo :wavey:...Stopping power courtesy of AP which fit behind some bronze TE37s

(and yes the chess board red carpets are coming out ;-) )
