Thread revive! If I wanted to go about getting my car properly valued, could someone on here do it for me etc, or how would I go about doing it? I have an FC3S Turbo coupe and will be putting her on the road again in august, after a full rebuild/paint and an arm and 2 kidneys worth of other bits...!. Thanks,

Thanks, I wasn't aware that S4 and S5 FC's had different gearboxs and Diffs/housings - you learn something new everyday... I know Turbo, and Non-turbo gearboxs had a different starter location etc...

2nd generation RX-7's / S4/S5 FC ECU conversion
June 03, 2016, 03:07:25 PM
Right then, im thinking about converting my S4 FC RX7 to run an S5 ECU, as in changing the plugs/wiring etc. Now my main question is - Is this possible etc, are they compatable if I connect the wires to the correct pins/change the plugs over etc? Im not a complete numpty and will follow the wiring, connect the correct signal wires etc, but I want to know if the S5 ECU 'operates' in the same way etc? The injector sizes etc are the same, the impedances are the same so wont have trouble there, but is there anything else I should consider etc, or has anyone attempted this mod before and can shed some light on it?

I put FD front calipers on my FC , they are a straight fit with no messing at all

Ive read that the FD Calipers are less likely to seize up like the FC ones can

Ok cool, thanks mate.

It's a limited edition because its the only one left in existance that is still in its box and never been opened ;-)

I have an S4 Turbo FC and want to put an S5 Front and rear bumper, and Turbo 2 sideskirts on. Now ive been trying to do searches regarding whether they are a simple bolt on, or if the actual shape of the bumpers/sideskirts are different/compatable etc, but the search results don't bring any specific answers? Some say 'yes' they are identical apart from the painting, and others say the bolt patterns/mountings are different?

Now I know the S4 has the black bumper trims, and the S5 is colour coded, BUT is that the only difference - will the S5 bumpers just bolt straight on? Will the turbo 2 sideskirts bolt straight onto an S4?

Sorry for the stupid questions, I hope im not the only 1 with this experience!
