Old school Mazda's / Help please
March 19, 2014, 03:56:17 AM
I just rebuilt the carb. I replaced the jets and I put in a new fuel pump and two filters. How often should you replace the plugs? I was told by the previous owner that this motor eats up plugs since it is ported and jetted. Also, what size should the jets be?

Old school Mazda's / Holley Carb

I started to rebuild the Holley 600 or 650 I have running on the RX7 rotary in my RX4 and when I went to replace the power valves there was a plug. Is their supposed to be a plug? If their isn\'t what size does the power valve need to be?

Old school Mazda's / Rx4 Suspension

I\'m new to the rotary world and I am not finding much on susupension. I am going to be autocrossing/rallying my 74 Rx4 and I want a decent suppension under it. Where is a good place to get parts? also What parts are interchangeable with other Mazda vehicles (i.e Rx7, Rx3,Rx8). Any comments are greatly appreciated

I inherited it from my dad. I know he has a 13b engine with a racing beat exhaust and header with a intake to fit a holley 600cfm carb. besides that I don\'t believe anything has been done

Quote from: HaywardRotary;852234Weber Carbs are really great specifically the IDA but we need to know your engine and the mods that have been done to it.
Holleys are also good but in my opinion Weber IDA is much more tuneable.

I am new to the whole rotary world and I need to replace the carb that is on there. currently there is a Holley carb. Can you install any carb or does it have to be specific? also racing beat sells Holley and weber so are those the only two available?
