Sorry but you have to apply the one and only rule when buying silly sized/offset wheels - buy now, figure out how on earth to make them fit later. :D

My FC on buddy club P1\'s - 16" x 7.5" et12, not the final ride height yet and more than likely going to reduce the offset a little further, 5 - 10mm spacers going on once she\'s finished going down;)

Well made a bit of progress. Finally finished chipping all the tar out of the interior (thank god!!!), and made a start spraying it up in the factory white which looks pretty tidy. Wheels have arrived but I\'m going to wait till the coilovers get here until I pop them on, manage to quickly test fit one and it looks like they shut sit pretty flush, may take a bit of arch work but they should be fine. They\'re buddy club P1\'s in 16 x 7.5 on et12:) cant wait to get them fitted and get the ride hieght nice and looooooooooowwwwwww. Going to go for 205/45\'s on the wheels which will actually reduce the diametre from the factory 15\'s with 205/60\'s, so it should help make the car feel a little more spritely.

Also had a little mess under the engine bay, removed the secondary throttle butterlfy\'s, and then went to see if I could bodge on my cone filter. Made a nice discovery of a K&N panel filter though, so decided leave that as it is.

Looked at the exhaust too, does anyone know what the standard EGI manifold looks like? Is it cast or tubular? Find mine to have a tubular one already so I\'m hoping it\'s an uprated one:mmmm

Thanks guys, going to have to start saving for an exhaust I think, but I\'ve got a K&N lying around somewhere ready to bodge on. I\'m very interested to ditch anything that isn\'t needed, the car isn\'t a daily drive so it can become faily stupid:D How loud is an EGI with a straight through exhaust from the ports?

I\'ll get some pics up soon.

Hi everyone,

I cant believe I\'ve been registered on here for over 5 years and have only just acquired my first rx. I\'ve drifting S13\'s on and off for years, but a due to having to buy a house in the not to distant future I\'ve had sell my dream S13 and get something a little cheaper. Always always wanted a rotary so I really cant wait to get my FC on the road.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to find out about tuning the little beast. I have done a search, but I failed.lol. Just wondered if there were any good guides to removing the air pump, and the throttle butterflys that aren\'t required. Any other "free" power hints would cool too. Trying my best to keep it low budget, just want the car to be fun on the road and sweet for a little bit of drifty fun.

The car is currently on a massive diet, really impressed by the amount of weight you can strip out of these things, but the tar removal is sarting to get a little dull now, just being spured on by how heavy the morrisons back of tar is getting.lol. Just need wheels, probably some coil-overs, then MOT, and she\'ll be ready to rip:driving

Cheers

Will

A mate of mine had them on an escort a few years back, very functional, and looked tidy only thing I thought was they were a little on the large side (the big washery bit), but they may just look slightly smaller on the rex(presuming it hasn\'t got an escort bonnet on it) :p

Thanks, I want to run around 300 brake on standard twins maybe roller bearinged ( if thats a word?) if they need rebuilding as well as the engine.

But my project all most finished today before it started! I finally crashed my s13, its got very drifty now, and beeing half asleep this morning it ended up sat up a curb with a bent bottom arm, a nakered alloy and a dented muffler:(  thought I\'d really killed it, and wouldn\'t be able to afford the RX :(
Thankfully it looks like that it is mainly my pride that has been damaged, (first time I\'ve lost a car on the road in 7 years) I feel like such a d!ck.
But its made it clearer that I want the hundy just for drifting and the RX for the ultimate road car. :D

Is the Ecu simply slightly different programming or is it differrent bit?
And would these turbos see 300bhp without to many problems?

Sorry for all the questions!
Thanks for the help I need an RX7 in my life:D

I\'m in the prosess of getting a FD thats needs a rebuild. Its a \'92 car from japan so does this mean that it is 240bhp? and if so what is the difference that gives the later models the extra 40 bhp??
Although I cant see me going mad on mods, but, well, surely about 300bhp wouldnt hurt?? apart from the old shabby worn out wallet!
