General Technical / FD3S Wheel Stud Information
April 08, 2013, 12:15:51 PM
Hi Grizzly,

I need the length of exposed stud at both front and back. As you said they may protrude the same at the front as they do at the rear even though the original lengths are slightly different due to a thicker hub at one end.

Thanks
Phil

Hi Guys,

Still hoping to get the correct stud stand out dimension so that I can cut mine back to the correct length.

Thanks

Thanks guys, between you, you have given me the information to work it out. However, I could still do with somebody actually measuring the out-stand from the hub so that I can cut the stud bar rather than replace it, the rears are a pig to do.

Thanks Shaun but I am no wiser. The table appears to indicate the same length front and rear for a 93.

Thanks mate but I have the original studs: 8 off 1.75" and 8 of  1.625". I know it\'s only 1/8th" but it matters because of the nut thread depth.
Thanks

Hi Guys,
If any of you currently have wheels off your FD would you kindly measure the stud projection from the face of the hub. Front and rear are different length studs and I don\'t know which is which. I have stud bar in at present and want to return to correct studs.

Many thanks
Phil

I. C. E. & Electrical / no sound from stereo

I had this problem when I first fitted a single din to a Bose system.
My notes show that I had to connect the blue/white wire on the headset to the light green/black on the car harness. This gives the car amp a power supply.
Let me know how you get on.

Is your air pump still connected ?
Before I fitted Apexi I disconnected mine and it was awfull in slow traffic - running rich at low revs.
