Quote from: BlitzBoy;832669I managed 20-25 mpg on cruise with my bridgy, all in the timing and afrs

Yeh I am hopeful that MPG will improve when it is mapped properly, currently running a base map.

Quote from: roborangefd3s;832649im in sutton mate, SM1, bought 15 mins from guildford in an rx7. ive been chatting to carl this week about a bridge as mine is in there now in bits, 5-10 mpg apparently!! that scares me, with the canards and stuff on it already is terrible on fuel, i went for a slightly more aggressive port the the current streetport, you cant beat the noise yours will make though.

Yeh it\'s very loud and braps hard, idles at 1900rpm. :)

20 mpg motorway driving? No.:Nono!:Nono! Not on the base map.

Perhaps when it is properly mapped it will, I hope! :Thumbsup!

On the base map I am on running in it does 10mpg, that\'s it.

Probs around 1800/1850 but who\'s looking :Thumbsup!:Thumbsup!

Quote from: roborangefd3s;832338cheers mate, would like to hear your bridge when its all sorted, i heard they were a pain in the ass on the road ? worth it though they sound evil brapety brap :Laugh -  where in surrey are you?

It\'s all sorted dude, 550 miles of running in done. :)

Not great in traffic or at low speeds as she falls into the brap at 1900rpm!

Awesome noise, pretty anti-social but not in a residential area that much. :)

I am about 10 minutes from Guildford, what about you?

Quote from: mowales81;832337Thank god I didn\'t buy that car last year.

Appreciate your kind words. Your car looks lovely by the way, wish I had bought that one.

Pretty sure it was my fault the car blew up anyway, when we put the new engine in - wouldn\'t fire, absolutely no fuel in the tank, had to put fuel in with a jerry can. :2Rolleyes:2Rolleyes  Won\'t be making that mistake again.

Quote from: Grant Monkhouse;832194What boost are you going to get it mapped too? Are you going to run any WI?

Not sure on running water injection, if it is needed then I will purchase an AEM WI kit, obviously it\'s not an issue atm as I am just running in, I sold my aquamist methanol injection kit about 2 weeks ago.

With regards to boost, I want 1.1/1.2 bar, will see what Carl says to that though... :Giggle:Giggle

Quote from: adamfitz;832053saw this when i was down at hayward, and im super jealous of how it looks. similar front and skirts to mine, but different rear end. gave me some food for thought with changing the rear slightly, especially for a monster spoiler like that!
its looking good buddy, keep up the work!

Appreciate the kind words dude, which car was yours? :)

If you are interested in the rear bumper, gimme a shout either here or on FD:UK. It\'s for sale, but won\'t come off the car until someone is interested.

Quote from: clive;832080Thanks for the posts with all the pictures as many many people from all around the world will like all this thread , and BTW your fine where you have posted :) .

I wish you well for the future, also if Dad wants to share about his RX-3 exploits along side yours that would be great :Thumbsup!

Thank you very much, Clive. I shall start a new thread about the RX3 and the RX5. :driving:driving

Quote from: Speedworks;832068What exhaust manifold do you use with that GT40R?

Did you run into any touching issues with the frame or engine?

Same manifold as I used on the T-78, 95% sure it\'s a T4 fitment, if Carl reads this thread I am sure he will be able to confirm. There is still quite a bit of space between the turbo and the bay, fits nicely. :driving

Quote from: Grant Monkhouse;832075Looks good bud. There\'s a bit of muck on your turbo, wipe it off please. :D

Haha sorry Grant! I\'m gonna clean her today and touch up a few bits! :wiggle:wiggle

Quote from: roborangefd3s;832041wow thats bad news dude - I have a similar situation myself only I havent actually had any enjoyment from my fd, mine is in with hayward now getting rebuild after flood damage, im in surrey too in sutton, where are you?

Hi mate, I have seen your car at Carls, I am glad to see you are rebuilding it dude, if it is only water seals then it will definitely be worth getting it done rather than breaking it. Very nice car, lots of lovely parts. :)

So, the car was taken to Carl and the boys in Newbury for a re-build. As I intend to turn this car into a time-attack FD in a couple of years when I have finished uni, I went for a full bridge port. I saw the ports on the car, they are super big and awesomely smooth, works of art.

Bought a Tial V60mm wastegate and some other sweet stuff and this is how the car sits today:

It lives. :cool::cool:

Very noisey, but I love it. :InLove

Currently running her in, can\'t wait to get it mapped. :driving:driving

That\'s all for now.
