I bought my 800cc\'s especialy for use with oem rail a year ago. But to make it easy for my self i bought me some s4 fuel rails becaus u can put adapters in them for the use of an hose ends.

For me, at the moment, its just that i need a fuel filter that replaces stock fuel filter and wil fitt an06 hose with out cousing any problems.

And if i will go to the track with it, maby also the swirl pot.

But not sure what to use.

Hey guys,

Ordered a KAAZ 1.5way lsd for my turbo II, but got the question if it was an open or viscous diff.

I assume, that KAAZ needs to know if you have an OEM open or vicous diff.

So i am a bit suprised about this, because what i read here, is that you cannot put a viscous diff in the housing of an open diff. Is this true?

In that case the next thing would be to figure out what i got, and obviously, i am not ready yet to open the diff housing. So i got some information a 1 or 2 years back about how to see what it is from the outside. But because different people say different things again, i would also like to aks you guys if you can confirm this next thing for me:

Is it possible to see if it is an open diff or an oem viscouse diff when you pull out the diff output shafts and you look tinside the diff it self. And is it true that in case of an open diff you should see a shaft, and in case of an lsd you could look through the diff?

Thank you

Edit,

pic shot 1 or 2 years ago while replacing the seals. I thought this would mean its an open diff

Hey guys,

I am prepairing the fuel system in my car in such way i can easily put a swirl pot in it later on.

I was wondering, for the guys who did this before, what kind for filters they used (before main pump and after main pump), and also what kind of fuel pump is used?

I was looking at aeromotive but i am getting very confused with the fuel filters as i am using AN-06 hose from earl\'s.

For now it is important that i have a fuel filter to replace the stock filter, and later on a fuel pump and filter for that pump.

So, this is what i have in mind for now:

-aeromotive A750 Fuel Pump, AN-08 inlet, AN-06 outlet.
-part no 12324, 100 Micron, ORB-10 as a pre-filter with AN-08 adapters

I think that part isn\'t much of an issue, i think that will work. But as a filter before engine i thought about: part no 12321, 10 Micron, ORB-10 with AN-06 adapters.

Only thing is, when reading the tech bulletins on their site they recommend to use AN-10 but the pump already has an output for AN-06.

So i would like to ask some opinions about what to do.

oem parts can be bought at the dealer, for example.

I\'ve replaced the 3 oil seals earlier on because of a leak.

Is it easy to adjust the diff correctly without special tools they are talking about in the factory workshop manual?

Mine will be rebuild aswell and i am not going to take any chances. It just needs correct adjustment and if i cannot do that because of missing tools or something i\'ll drop it off at a specialist.

@mcpie,

If you say that it only makes noise under acceleration, i could immagine that it could be wear on some teeth.

But you only find out if you take it appart

2nd generation RX-7's / fitting jap rollcage into uk car

Its not, actualy.

It is designed for RHD, that\'s why that 5th bar is going from left rear to upper right. In my case, LHD car, it shoud go to the upper left corner.

That sux ass.

Took the interior appart except the upper a and b pillars, and the head liner.

If i need to get it out that would change a lot here cuz i need to find a diff spot for the gauges as i rather dont have them in front of the warning lights. And if the roof motor has to go, that would a be a disaster... dont want that lol.

If i got it i need to pre fit it anyway cuz i dont have bucket seat yet, lets hope, and i\'ll post some pics here.

Nice to read this. didn\'t thought that way yet. Knew about the fact, leaner is hotter but never thought about the fact that that will be a cause of pre ignition.
