Thanks very much Jon, there is certainly a lot of \'behind the scenes\' history involved with Van Veen!

If you do manage to get some photos that can be posted here that would be great :Thumbs-up

Thanks 13B. I hope you can manage to get some pics.

If you do get some pics, you might have to ask a full member or a moderator to post them for you mate (?) :wave

MRC DISCLAIMER - THE NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO PROTECT THE CAMPERS!!! LOL.

John: Hey Steve, I have two questions.

Steve: Yeh, what?

John: OK. Say you went camping with some friends, got really p*ssed and passed out in your tent. In the middle of the night you wake up and realise there\'s some vaseline around your sore arse. You look over, and on the other side of your tent you see one of your friends, sound asleep. Do you tell anyone?

Steve: That\'s disgusting. But no, I\'d be too embarassed to tell anyone.

John: Wanna go camping?

Quote from: a.evdokimovIAN, as Rotorboy said, the guy who did the retrim was Greg, but after Leo sold nemesis (the owner - i know the guy personally), all of the staff had gone off to i don\'t know where...SO THERE AIN\'T NOTHING ODD HERE -)))))

MATE, no offence meant by my \'odd\' comment and presumably none taken. A simple case of "If you don\'t ask, you don\'t find out". Thanks to ALL who have taken their time to enlighten me :cheers

Quote from: K1HKS arseWhy does that seem odd????????????????????????

His car was retrimmed by a guy called Greg that worked at Nemesis when i worked there and had my car sponsored by them.Nemesis was sold to another company and still trades but all the old staff have gone their seperate ways.

Just to set the record straight all the work done on my car except engine rebuilds, new chassis has been done by myself.Since the car was first built back in 2000 via Dragon Autosport (Ross bought the name and changed it to Dragon Performance) all the work except engine rebuilds has been done by me or had my input.I didnt give Dragon/Nemesis a load of money and say build me a car,it was my ideas, input and 90% of the time my own work.

Anyway, have just spoke to Greg,so e.evdokimov, please send me an email to powerstakgg@yahoo.co.uk and i will reply will Greg phone number.

Regards

Gary

Just seemed odd, that simple really.

Quote from: a.evdokimovHi everybody! Does anybody know anyone who do interior retrims in london or near? Thanks a lot!

Hello mate. Having just read your thread and the reply from K1HKS arse, I was just wondering how come you don\'t know the contact details of the person that had done your trim, yet K1HKS arse does? Seems a little odd to me.

Cheers,

Ian.

Hi RX-8888.

Sorry, but I could not resist posting your remarks from rotarynews.com

Mate you crack me up! Thats what I call \'telling them\' :rollin :Thumbs-up

BTW, any of our US cousins who read this thread, we all have some thing to learn in life. Just some more than most ;)

Here you go.

RX-8888 post...

I have been telling you know all yanks for 2 years NOT to use synthetic oil in ANY Rotary....but, no all these SO called Rotary Gods know more than Mazda Japan.....and now you guys expect new motors for nothing.....typical.....MNAO should also be held to account for not correctly prohibiting their dealers in using or recommending synth.

I don\'t care what ANYONE SAYS...MAZDA JAPAN...I REPEAT JAPAN have NEVER recommended the use of Synthetics for everyday use in their rotaries....period.

Just in case, here\'s the link to the rx8 Service Bulletins. I see that the US are having the powertrain warranty extended!

Thanks Clive.

From what I understand, there are a lot of rex owners that even supply their own, preffered  engine oil at servicing intervals! I now can\'t help but wonder what Mazda will have to say about those particular warrantees should problems occur.

Also, I\'d imagine that Opie Oils will also be very interested too.

:cheers
