hello:WaveBye it arrived on thursday. its a tanabe back back box. the pipe work looks custom, its not stainless steal. from the flange end about 1/2" from it bores out to about 3 1/2" to the back box. get some pics up soon.

no not yet. need to get an uprated pump etc... the engine has all the injecters fuel rails etc which was already on it. would not know what size they would be? pip said it was a heavly half street port!? i would like to see 500bhp at fly:D then i will be a happy boy:D

i see! well im going try and swap the engines myself with some help!!! then see about it getting up to wgt somehow:confused: all i need now is a clutch!? i suppose i would need a twin plate clutch?  dont suppose you know wht kind of power i would be making from this new transplant? i forgot to ask pip:Hammer

really:confused: was\'nt the rx7 all freshly build etc... when i spoke to pip breifly to identify the engine, pip seemed a bit annoyed about the car being broken up!?

Pip is very competent! He knows his work well. My car is with him at the moment, getting the Motec ECU installed in it.
 
The engine you bought had motec tunning on it- hence it is in my opinion the engine must have been managed well! Good luck with your project!

Great car, looks very mean indeed. I\'d personally get the wheels painted a darker colour (anthracite or maybe even black!) to go with the bonnet and wing, but each to their own!
 
I remember that black FD for sale. Think it was up for c.£30k IIRC, although they later decided to sell it for parts. Looking forward to seeing what you think of the car once the new engine/turbo has gone in and is properly set-up.
 
Quick question, what boost are you running to hit 345 at the fly? Oh, and nice Spider-Man blanket!

hi there, its running 0.8 bar done at reworx. i love white wheels had them power coated that colour. all silver rx7\'s normally have dark wheels etc... but i do have the origina wheels for spares which i think im gonna do black and have the best of two worlds.

Welcome to the club! That car you got the engine from was up for sale a while ago! It had motec ecu and it was running safe map. Since you got the engine which was done by Wgt, personally I would let Pip deal deal with it.
