RX-8's / New RX8 addition

hi

blue is the only colour lol. i love my 2004 winning blue 231ps, seen a black r3 on ebay for nine grand which looked stunning, but i love the blue of your r3.

gonna leave it until the prices come down if i decide to buy an r3, i do like my 2004, would be great to see how they differ in driving etc.

there was a white r3 near me for sale a year back and it shot past me on the motorway, looked great all the same.

i really like that white fb in jimmys, its just too far away for me :(
really hate it, all these fb\'s being so far away from me and me the money to buy them :(

was wondering why only £950, mileage on engine?

aaarrrrrgggghhhh, no, no, no, not brown. :(
blue like my winning blue looks great :) go well with those wheels.

it looks too ordinary in that brownish colour, needs a striking colour!

but too low sitting like that, looks like the front suspension completely knackered :)

aaagggghhhhh, don\'t mention calipers to me lol.
i have to replace the rears on my mx3 jap import as they always go after a year or two, this time it was the damm handbrake linkages. but today is a happy one as got her through the MOT :)

i have used the halfords caliper paint in the past too, a nice blue. it lasts quite well, but only the front calipers are still blue lol. going to give them another few coats and paint the rears, never know they might last a while longer lol :)

i would be interested if the car is in good condition underneath, enough to pass its MOT.
also its trailering it home to n.ireland, how much would it be etc.

Quote from: David Nock;792079Back on ebay....the low miles red S2

i love the interior of this car, its a nice colour of red too.
i wonder if this interior can be picked up somewhere, if/when i get an fb i\'d like it installed and reckon it\'d suit a red, white, silver or black car.

1st generation RX-7's / My 1st Gen RX-7

if you can get the areas welded try that and see. also try another garage like you say.  where i live we have government run centers and i heard on the radio one day about a person taking a car in to be failed on something, they bring the car to another center and the car passes with nothing done to it.

the whole lots a laugh. but get a second opinion from a mechanic and you\'d need to give the carbon a good blow out of the engine. i used cataclean which cleans the cat on a car, if you still have it on. look it up on ebay as people sell it on there.

ok, thought it was a series one with the side markings.
that front bumper still doesn\'t look right to me though.

also ask why the original series 1 front bumper is not on the car.
it looks like a series 2 or 3 bumper, but if the rest checks out then should be able to source one somewhere i suppose.

good luck and give it a good think before deciding etc.

knew you\'d pass. your MOT in england seems handier than ours, being able to go to a garage etc. better being safe and everything in good order so you\'re safe. plenty of rx7\'s only one of you ;)

but great news, insurance will be sorted easily then get out and enjoy her :)
#13
good luck mate. she looks really well and if you have covered the points in the test, then you\'ll be ok. once you get her through, then its down to the car tax office and get a disc then out onto the road :)

i was at our car show and quite a few fb\'s were at it. been speaking to a few contacts and got to see the \'dark grey\' or black interior which i actually liked. to me it looks more black and goes ok with the grey seats etc so was great to actually see it in person rather than from pics were light can affect the colour.

so something might be on the cards for me as got a few people looking out for an fb for me. but want one more than ever now :)

so what happened to the 16x, or have they ran into issues all because of the emissions etc? now they gonna use lasers to ignite the fuel and burn it better, so engine can run leaner?

well just read this about whats happening with the next rotary engine from mazda, doesn\'t make for great reading if true, 2017 ???? :(
